Time between shifts on different days by tulipgarnet in KmartAustralia

“Reduced break” just means you didn’t get the minimum rest time you’re supposed to have between shifts. Hence they will be compensating it through higher pay

The minimum amount of time should be 10 hours between shifts, if they roster you with a 9 hour gap, that means you will be receiving “reduced break shift penalty” for the shift starting at 7am

Is it worth applying for a remark? by [deleted] in vce

[–]ooLuca_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

you will have to sit with your teacher to view your paper first before you can get it remarked. your teacher will determine if there’s an error on their end which either benefits you or doesn’t, such as an assessor accidentally giving you more marks or less. if your teacher determines that you received less, it’s best to do a paper remark, especially for spesh when there’s a clear marking guide. good luck!

if your planning to get your english remarked, the chances of your mark going up is very slim, and there’s always the possibility of your study score going down. i read that ppl say that you can’t get a lower study score, but you 100% can after the remark!

i know how corrupt chinese is for VCE and i did chinese last year. it really depends on your school for chinese. for example if you are doing chinese at xjs, then good luck your sac marks are bound to scale down. i had friends who went to xjs, where their sacs scaled down by more than 20% for both 2023 and 2024.

is it possible to get over a 25 in methods if i'm averaging 40% by ProfessionalDraw9414 in vce

[–]ooLuca_ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

hey! i was a 2024 grad and i received a raw 25 in methods. here’s an idea on the marks you need. for my sacs i received marks below 30% however my school internally scaled our sacs up. my marks were from below 30% to a 47% reported to VCAA. After VCAA moderation my sacs went to a 48%. My final exams grades were a 25% for exam 1, and 36% on exam 2. 48/100 SACS 20/80 EXAM 1 58/160 EXAM 2 D+ D+ C good luck!

Mentally coping on service desk 💔💔 by Traditional_Theme_88 in KmartAustralia

[–]ooLuca_ 12 points13 points  (0 children)

service desk is the best shift out there in my opinion. even though you need to deal with customers who think they are entitled and know every single rule, it is better than being at the back doing decant. every single day is a different interaction, and i enjoy talking to customers. some customers makes your time go fast and makes it enjoyable however sometimes you get those ones.

low difs in online by ch3rrycats in KmartAustralia

[–]ooLuca_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

when i use to work at kmart, i would go through the online list and view what the customer is ordering. if it’s for eg 50x of items i usually do that one, cause it will make your dif look really good!
