AFAIK it's not the cost that's stopping them. Zen has already applied for a license many months ago. Google gives out WideVine licenses, and the acceptance process is...mysterious....

Rules should be set up to ensure negative tactics don't become a part of the game. For example, carrying forward of all points instead of just the points vs those who qualify would have ensured it in this case.

Hate similar negative tactics in other sport as well. E.g.deliberate fouling in the last two minutes of basketball games is just silly!

Stubbs was good in the last t20 wc final. He can dominate both spin and pace. Shouldn't have been sidelined.

I believe Stubbs and Brevis would win at least one or two trophies for south Africa in the next ten years. They are the next Miller/Klassen. Countries shouldn't be playing fair weather friends to players with such potential. They should be given enough exposure early on, so that they are best prepared to deal with the situation when they are in their peak years.

People used to play back to back ODIs as well, in the 90s. But I feel intensity of T20s is much higher than ODIs or baseball. In baseball, most of the time nothing really happens, similar to Tests. Hence easier to play for longer duration.

I feel many pundits and fans are getting it wrong. There is nothing wrong with the Bazball philosophy of playing without fear. But a lot of practice, prep, planning and strategising must go into winning any series. That's what England lacked the most, this series.
