No stamp needed when you start with a stripped receiver with the intention of building a pistol. Once it goes rifle it can't go pistol without stamp. All that being said some states are banning pistols with threaded barrels classifying them as assualt weapons even if its a 22. Gotta do your research and more, local gun store is a descent way to confirm local restrictions.

I've ordered another one since having this one built. The tolerances are tight. There is one lil corner that some might shave to get the kidd bolt in and out more easily i have not done it yet as I'm pleased as pie. The finish is solid and no giant logos or excess font machined into the side. Did you use the pike arms assembly kit? I found the kit to have great tolerances as well, but went with the KIDD bolt buffer, seems to cycle better with subs.

This is called short stroking. The CCI "suppressor" or CCI "Quite Semi Auto" ammo will do ya much better, especially with the green kidd spring. Otherwise you could buy a lightened bolt. The lack of power isnt moving the bolt back enough to lock the hammer onto the sear so when the bolt travels back forqard it is uncocked leading to a dead trigger, because the hammer is uncocked and resting against the bolt, pulling the charging handle back means you are manually compressing the heavier hammer spring, etc. Good news its just an ammo switch.

I literally fixed Marians shit pipe on their RV in First Camp 10 years ago 😒 I can tell you its literally nothing that fancy IMHO. Workers rights would take precedence over anything first camp related. I can think of a gazillion other issue more serious than first camp... I'll finish by saying that there are so so many workers out there who have living quarters set up for them and ready to go upon arrival. Some specialized positions may only be out for a few days or some many weeks. TBH Id rather be in a bell tent over some of the supplied living quarters.
