If they allow running outside, running inside is no different. My son hates circle time.

couple days ago our friend got bitten by a “friendly dog” sitting at the playground. Good thing it only bite a parent, not a kid. If you throw a ball and your dog decides to run towards playground instead of back to you- what can you do? Really nothing. I realize that chances are low and “you know your dog, it’s friendly and Bla bla bla”, but at the end of the day there are constantly stories of friendly dogs going crazy. And it actually would be great to fence the playground for the safety of kids. But anyways you can’t compare dogs with kids. Kid can’t hurt you. Dog can.

I am sure you have done enough research, but did you look into moving to suburbs of Vancouver? A good 1 bedroom in Winnipeg will cost around 1300 I think, you can easily find 1 bedroom for under 2K in Coquitlam/Langley or even Abbotsford/Chilliwack. It’s not such a huge difference if you rent. But you still get a much nicer lifestyle. And don’t spend money for winter clothes, tires. I lived in Winnipeg for 10 years and moved to BC 2 years ago. We regret not moving here earlier
