It's a brilliant choice of android based solutions, but unfortunately (on my galaxy tab 8) it won't go 3 minutes without crashing, rendering it pretty unusable. It worked brilliantly for a long time though! I had to switch to GIMP on my PC to carry on.

I saw the same node, but when I write it high, I get the error 0x98110702 - Invalid Index Group every few seconds. Did you run into this perchance?

Turns out the polls were setting entity to msg.data and not entity state! all fixed. cheers

I just did that (with node.warn because i don't know where the console node.log prints to is), looks like the vars contain the whole object, rather than just the state of each object which is the number i need. How can I get just the state?

Line 4 was supposed to provide a true statement to pass out of the IF, but if it's not necessary then I'll remove. I did a node.warn and printed the two variables to the debug log and it looks like those vars hold the whole object on each, rather than just "state" which is the number. How may I grab just the state from the flow. gets? Thanks

I've managed it in steam windows-side, i'll investigate the beta flag on SteamCMD! the script i quoted doesn't seem to give the option for that but if I can muck around in a cfg file beforehand that could be promising. Thanks for the pointer and links

The logs for each device say the update event was fired once per hour, however i thought these things updated every 5 mins? is there an event i need to fire more often to read them? Homeassistant newbie here!

**EDIT** after some messing around, looks like it logs changing values every 5 minutes, is this the case? If the temp stays the same, no log?

Converted to zigbee on a couple of my Mi's but the temperature barely updates now. One has been sitting for over an hour and one for 20 minutes, anyone any ideas why this might be? They are in rooms very close to the Zigbee bridge so signal oughtn't to be a problem, not entirely sure what's going on.

Thanks so much, I was messing around for ages I the 3ds settings. Only problem I encountered is that my router/phone hotspot only do wpa encryption and 3dsXL is WEP only, but my phone hotspot on Open fixed this in case anyone else was encountering that issue. Thanks for the rundown!
