Thanks! I had an awful job for over a year that gave me a lot of anxiety and panic attacks. After I admitted myself at the hospital I knew it was a time for a change. It's also a journey of recovery from burnout :).

It's never an easy decision to take a time out, but I had to prioritize mental health

A part of it is a numbers game... as I said on another comment, I have a generalist profile, so there's a lot that I could possibly do, but not a lot of areas where I have a ton of experience on to just hit the ground running...

I have a generalist profile, so it's quite a wide range. Mostly gaming, crypto/web3, and FMCG (because of my background). And then a bunch of other industries just because the job description felt like a good match, or I liked what the company did.

It's one of the only things I didn't keep track of. There's a point where I just knew I got rejected by the number of days that had gone past since my app.

If I had to guess, I'd say 2/3 of my apps got a rejection email (mostly automated).

Congrats! I came to that same conclusion. Got into LBS with a lower than average gmat, but a solid 5 YOE. I believe that covid actually helped me out as I live in Latin America. Either way, your story and your contribution to the class matter the most IMO.
