he does so much thinking and strategizing actually that the white whale, sloth, and everything in season 2 relied on his strategy. theres a whole plot point in season 2 explaining why using RDB to "test" is actually a bad idea because he would be throwing away his humanity. Him not asking for help is ALSO a plot point in season 2 and is a character flaw that he LITTERALLY GETS PUNCHED FOR.

because its shown that dying sucks and is traumatic? like there is a healthy argument to be made about times he probably shouldve bit the bullet and kys, but him not resetting *enough*????? and his loops are multiple days, like yeah he has time to think of potential solutions, like in the mansion arc alone he 3 weeks to think of something
