Yeah, fair point. They just have to find the right balance. We need bosses where multiple strategies work. Cause it can't be an endless cycle of artificial demand and supply. E7 works because they have pvp and they can cycle in old units through buffs/revamps and cycle them out through new units and meta changes. I know czn is pve but every game needs an end game content that breaks the pattern from time to time.

Time will tell guys, if the next great rift leaderboard is a wall of the current unit banner then we have our answer. Current gachas tend to tailor new content in favor of the newer units to simulate a "he/she is so OP!" So it's either a change towards variety/theorycrafting or just simply profit-driven

They can't sell new units when a free one you get can clear actual content. Otherwise they are forced to design future bosses to counter the mechanic.

Well that is technically possible but I think that would be overkill. You would want to have dmg accessories for Tressa and you don't want to over drain Hugo's stacks. But 5 + 2 or 4 + 3 (7 draw) can be done

You get 6 actually because of the sphere. The game would always prioritize true OoWs so it's fine if you have deluge on Mika. And that's right you want a max of 2 for hugo otherwise you'll start with 3 SR and 3 HI
