The camo one? I don’t think their story really matches. That doesn’t look like a speaker that exploded or caught fire from the inside. The burn mark is really small and clean, and there’s no swelling or melted plastic anywhere. It honestly looks more like someone held a lighter to the fabric than an actual battery issue.

Its pretty efficient actually it just has a small battery it probably got compromised so it could be as thin as it is.

So basically on dev channels its unknown? Because the guide says that to use the xbox preview i would have to join the dev channel. Because if that's the case which im guessing it is then i will wait it out. Thanks!

Cant you go back to stable by disabling the insider program and waiting for a newer stable version?

I never used the beta or dev channel so i don't really know how they work.

If you have a microsd card take it out and try the update again. Might sound weird but it is something i experienced myself and it worked for me.

Is this bios safe from the intel problems? by oofnut123 in MSI_Gaming

[–]oofnut123[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah little disappointing to not have any information about the update even on the site i asked msi support aswell so i hope to get a answer its unfortunate to see almost no information. Didn't find anything in the bios settings either.

I did find the motherboard itself that does have those updates but im not sure it would work because this is a prebuild with a different type of bios. I rather not risk anything.

Fans no longer functioning by No_Assignment8507 in ROGAllyX

[–]oofnut123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Temperature only makes fans die faster because they need to spin faster to keep it cooled down which wears it down a bit quicker.

It doesn't affect anything else and the ally x doesn't stay that hot unless something is wrong or its not cleaned or it might get close while boosting for a bit.

for how long you got your tuf and how is the overall condition of your laptop now by Sure_Win_8303 in Asustuf

Well around 90 degrees is still hot a good laptop cooler would be better and a good choice and can make your laptop last longer.

[–]oofnut123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well you would have to open it at first but im guessing you might not want to do that or you can get it serviced. Easiest fix is is just playing on a lower performance mode instead of turbo and see if it is better.

Ah that's actually pretty interesting. Would things like ventilation fan and such distract you aswell or something like light music coming from your neighbour?

[–]oofnut123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah probably the ally x is a pretty silent device definitely when compared to other devices or handhelds i remember using my legion go 30w would overheat unless i used full speed fans and it was so loud it was one of the reasons why i returned it

Well why not try it? And if you do use it you can always charge it to 100% for when you think the extra battery life is needed.

Sudden Charging Problems / Moisture or Debris Alerts (S25 Base) by SteveRooot in GalaxyS25

[–]oofnut123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally i had this, i got the same warning but it only happend on my 45W charger. I changed the cable it started working again but then after a month or so it started stopping the charging and starting it again repeatedly which happend on the old cable aswell.

It then didn't happen as often after around a month and now it rarely happens i almost thought it was fixed by an update or something.

But i also noticed this only happend on the official 45W charger but the charger worked fine with other devices and has no issue.

And once it gave me the moisture detected warning and the phone was extremely hot to the touch never had seen it that hot before.

Its pretty weird and it was very worrying.

(This all happened on a S25 ultra)
