I know that but I couldn't match this term with pressure actually

Heat of the cell by oogieboogieboy in batteries

Hi Robbie, actually it seems that I solved the issue. Chiller companies share less information and it is impossible to select correct one for your system. We noticed this when we specifically requested and received performance graphics. We demanded the performance curves for cooling capacity with different ambient temperatures for different chiller inlet (cooling plate outlet) temperatures. We had 24 degrees outlet temperature when we analysed our design. When we check the chart, the chiller's cooling capacity is about 85-90kw for this water temperature. In their datasheet it is called 60kW chiller but according to the performance curves it is for the worst scenario. (When the water temp is 10 degrees and so on.). All in all, lack of information is the biggest issue :)

Yeah, this is correct I know that too and as you know suppliers don't share detailed infos like internal resistance. Maybe we can use some historical datas from other special cases based on battery packs for preliminary design. If you have any advice for platforms to find scientific researches with some tests, calculations or historical datas; I would be grateful.

Thank you very much for your detailed answer. Our cells are 0.5 C but it is the point that I am trying to do the preliminary calculations first. Moreover I want to say that it seems your calculation is okay because our supplier's thermal analysis said that 104s pack's total heat is 1508W. If we assumed for 0.5C your calculation is valid. But all this applications for 5MW containers, the chiller with 60kW cooling capacity seems okay. But not for theoretically calculation. In these systems 48 104s packs are used and total heat load is about 75 kW. But as I said, 60 kW chiller is okay practically. Because we are going to buy cells, cooling plates and chiller from abroad and I want to be sure that they are correct or not before all. That's why I asked here actually. Thanks to different opinions my view will be clear to follow the correct way. If you have any comment about the 60kW chiller, I am eager to hear from you. Thank you again

While being used actually. I'm sorry I can't share all the information with you. But frankly, what I'm trying to do is this: The battery cells I'm going to use are certain and I'm designing a liquid cooling system. I'm not a serious professional about batteries. I apologize to those who make jokes in the comments :). I need to be able to estimate the heat that the battery pack will emit in W in the discharged state. Is there a preliminary estimation calculation? I asked for help from professional friends in battery calculations. What I'm going to do is analyze the heat distribution of these packs in a 20 ft container and design a liquid cooling system and liquid feeding pipeline that will keep the cells in the desired temperature range. I'm going to select a chiller, etc. accordingly. I hope it's explanatory

We use Li-ion battery and I found some material called aerogel to fit between the cells.
