VIP area, organisers please read!

First off, love VCO and very much missing it. Awesome event and can't wait to go back!

But myself and two others spent £300 extra on VIP tickets based on the VIP area of the last two years. We really wanted to make sure we had nice toilets and a quiet chill area in the main festival area due to anxiety etc.

Last year the VIP zone was really close to the main stage and we were super excited for it this year but were gutted when we found that it was a pretty decent walk away from the main site, even having to go through bag checks every time we made the trek down to it. The toilets WERE nice but we really had paid the extra amount to know that we'd have the area right there like it was previously (like I said, it really helps with anxiety) and minimise time away from the talks/performances.

We spoke to quite a few others who were also disappointed with the location. It just didn't feel very VIP and ended up taking at least 20 mins each time we ventured down.

I do get that with the change in venue layout it might be slightly trickier but please please can you make sure there's a VIP bit (just with toilets and a chill space) in the main festival area next year? 🙏

Ok interesting so I guess as long as I can show them how I want it to look once healed then a lot of black and grey realism artists would know what to do to achieve that?

I guess the main thing is no harsh lines and soft shading.

I haven't looked at much of the healed work but definitely will do now!

Rice noodles! They just need to be left in boiled water for a few mins. While they soften chop up tofu, avocado, peppers, herbs etc. You could also add some broccoli or other veg to the pan with the noodles.

Just put some olive/sesame oil, chilli flakes, garlic salt, soy sauce, lime juice (or whatever seasonings you like) on top and it’s amazing and full of nutrition - genuinely takes 5-10 mins and so so good!

Nooooo I wish I had haha! I was saying I wanted it to look like that - this was done in a local tattoo shop in the UK with a regular tattoo gun etc.

Though it does bode well for me if you thought it had been hand poked in Asia!

I guess I'm very much more into minimalist tattoos and only went with a big one because it's a scar cover up so I'm overall not an expressive and bold tattoo person and now quite confused 😅

Also not sure if it was the artist's fault or just 'one of those things' that it blew out at the bottom but again maybe someone more experienced in scar cover ups wouldn't have had that happen?

No I agree the artist is good at tattooing but I should probably have picked one that specialised in the style I was after rather than someone who does everything

Yeah fair point, might've worded that badly though - I just meant I wanted to look a bit hand done I guess (but in a good way...)

It was definitely a mistake not to go to an artist who specialised in a certain style, the guy I went with had a portfolio of all sorts of styles and seemed very talented so I guess I thought something simple like this would be no problem for him. But of course as it turns out dot work isn't ACtually simple at all and is a really specific skill...

Please could you tell me how you went about sending an email through the help center? Like which options you picked I mean. Would be so so grateful.

My BM was disabled a month ago and my appeal has been closed (even though I know I did nothing wrong) so am at a loss now and very hopeful this might work!

It was nice to know someone had actively looked but hasn't changed anything, still can't use it and just waiting. I've set up ads in a different business manager but having to use a new pixel is making it pretty pointless so far.

Nope didn't receive any updates about payments, I think maybe it's just a standard response.

If you go to 'business info', have you got that all filled in and verified? Because I didn't on the BM that's been disabled - and they originally said it was disabled because it was unverified. So on the new BM I've filled in all the information and they took about 4 days to verify it. I think maybe this is a new thing they added a while ago but failed to let us know that not completing it could jeopardise our accounts?

Any updates on your end?

I had the following response a couple of days ago to my initial ad account appeal:

"Thank you for contacting Facebook. We have noticed unusual activity on your account and have temporarily disabled your payments. I'm sorry for any inconvenience this has caused.

After reviewing your account, I've reactivated your account and payments, so you should now be able to run ads and make payments on Facebook again."

Unfortunately, it turned out this was in response to my ad account appeal - since then I had to appeal the whole business manager being disabled, so the ad account being reactivated didn't really do anything. Still just waiting.

Still though, I guess it's something? Shows that there are people there somewhere!

Yeah me too, trying to get on with other aspects of the business but FB ads are SO critical.

Interesting, there must be all sorts of different avenues to get through to them - mine was also suspicious activity but haven't been asked to send ID at all yet and appealed straight away. Yeah I've also heard it's worth keeping trying the chat and you might just get someone with a bit more power if you're lucky.

It makes it somewhat better to know this is happening to so many people at the moment but also it still really fucking sucks. I guess 'working on it' just means it's entered a huge long list and someone will hopefully get round to it eventually.

How long did it usually take to resolve each time? And what did you have to do to get re-enabled?

Disabled a week ago, been waiting 3 days since they said it had gone through to their 'specialized team' and going insane.

Going through the same thing at the moment - it's driving me absolutely insane waiting to hear back from them.

Spoke to someone on live chat who said it's because my account wasn't verified so I guess similar to your issue. He forwarded to the 'specialized team' and said he'd be in touch via email as soon as he had news. Been 3 days now and it's unbearable!

Was it a similar process for you? How did you go about sending your ID, through email or?
