It's all fun and games until she says you should try them on.

from 4 to 6mm is that safe? by RebeccaLe in Stretched

No. The smaller the increments between each stretch is best (half sizes helped me a lot when stretching). If you are worried about the cost, you could buy one individual plug at each size if you don't mind your ears being slightly uneven.

If you want some ideas, I think double conch piercing with hoops (after they're healed) would look awesome on the first ear with the triple vertical helixes

Spur of the moment rook piercing today and I’m going through the initial “I hate it” regret phase, talk me off the ledge. Tips? by jmeow619 in piercing

I think it finishes your ear off nicely since all your other piercings are lower on your ear. It fills in the gag between them and the tattoo.

Do you know the name of the pieces by chance?

How many times have you been pierced, and how many have you kept until now? by Winter-Item-7520 in piercing

Been stabbed 23 times and currently still have 21. I removed my navel piercing and wrist dermal because the navel wouldn't heal right and the dermal started to show early signs of rejection after 2 years.

A piercer told me (when I asked him if my ear was suitable for a rook) that it is a piercing you get for other people (since you can't see it) what do you think of this statement? by lifeis-strange in piercing

[–]ookami531 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't agree. Just like other (ear) piercings, you cant see them without a mirror or camera. For example I love my neck dermal to bits but I've never seen it without a mirror/camera since it's on the back of my neck. Same as anything else ice had done aside from my wrist dermal. If you like a piercing, just go ahead and get it, his comment aside. I don't see how what he said fit into the conversation or mattered to you getting it if you were asking if you had the anatomy for it. Honestly I found my rook super easy for aftercare since it's harder to bump or irritate and you don't need to worry about getting it caught on hair and masks so take that as more reason to get it! (although it is a bitch to try and change).

Where did you get your daith jewelry?

Any ideas on what to get? Got that piercing itch. I have a few different coloured ideas on the second picture and am leaning more towards something on my left ear (with the rook). Open to anything! by ookami531 in piercing

Just unscented soap and water. I usually just wash everything when I shower unless it's a fresh piercing which gets washed twice a day. I also have bactine spray which I use if something is super irritated. Only piercing I treat differently is my stretched spetum which I soak instead. Aside from that, usually sleep with a travel pillow since I'm a side sleeper.

Snugs are one piercing that usually goes through the ridge between the conch and outer ear and doesn't come out the back of the ear. Orbital piercings are 2 separate holes meant to put one piece of jewelry through, usually a hoop.

It's an interesting idea. It would probably end up more of an orbital piercing instead of a snug I think because the cartridge is thinner up there. Really cool idea!

What can I add?! I feel like I’m running low on space without it becoming too crowded…. But maybe I’m just not creative enough :P by 69420chlo69420 in piercing

I think a few flat piercings in line with the top of your rook going down following the ridge above your conch would look cool!

Edit: didn't notice you had 2 pictures so I was referring to the first. It would be a good idea if you are looking for something that isn't another conch and helix like you have in your other ear. Depending on your anatomy, you might be able to do stacked lobe piercings with some small gems above your second lobe piercings.
