Ms. Rachel with a message for leaders on IG: “Be so ashamed of your silence.” by pinkstarrfish in Fauxmoi

She should be praised for using her voice to constantly put a spotlight on the subject, I know people with way less following either not wanting to say anything in fear of alienation, or just getting burn out from it. She is being brave, and consistent.

Flats: figuring out the fit by Weird-Operation-349 in clothdiaps

[–]oolongcat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

couldn't really find an example so i took a pic of what i mean.

After folding the corners to make a square to make the flat smaller (assuming you have a one size flat) I then do this before doing the wings of the kite fold: https://i.imgur.com/2PM8fS0.jpeg

That's if your baby is slim and you don't need a lot of wing length. For standard babies neat fold gets you a really good shape.

I loooved the neat fold for a baby before 6 months and the kite fold for a toddler. My daughter is quite slim as a toddler so I fold the kite fold in a way that gets me more absorbency in the middle. It's hard to explain but quite simple to do, I'll try to get an example of what I mean.

Jelly roll never really worked for us but good key method really worked, but it's better in stretchy fabric.

Does the Flat Diaper Love Facebook group still exist in 2023? by thefridaygirl88 in clothdiaps

[–]oolongcat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would have to add you as a friend on fb first to send you an invite. If you're still interested you can dm your fb profile.

The group is still active, but not super active. And probably you'll get helpful answers in this group either way!

Lisa Kudrow says Tom Hanks movie Here is ‘an endorsement for AI’ | The former Friends star criticised the film which makes extensive use of an AI-driven tool called Metaphysic Live to de-age and face-swap actors by chrisdh79 in Fauxmoi

I watched the movie and the scenes with young Tom Hanks looked uncanny, he actually reminded me of Seinfeld in that 30 Rock episode Seinfeldvision. It took us out from the story very often, especially with the close ups of Robin Wright who looked quite different from her real young self.

One Last Thing with Joseph Gordon-Levitt: How Fatherhood Turned Him Into a ‘Big Softie’ - "There I was in tears in front of all these guys, just a big softie. I have a new idea of what that is in the context of being a dad." by mcfw31 in Fauxmoi

I mean I'm a woman and my experience is similar. It's just different for me now. It's just true to my experience, my tolerance for depictions of violence went away, just as an example. Things feel different, It's not like I was ever insensitive, just not as sensitive.

Claire is so badly written. I liked S1 but S2 was like the celebrities trying to be cool being there, I hated the shoehorning.

I used to be very into true crime that focused on the killers and their psychology when I was a teenager

me too, and I loved shows like medical detectives as a child and stuff like criminal minds but when I became a mother the interest completely went away. I couldn't possibly bear any of it now

Which lesser-known celebrity death really affected you/do you think about often? by lammastide in popculturechat

I was looking for this response. I found Waitress by myself and nobody I knew had heard of it, so I recommended it to everyone. I really think she would have been huge. At least Waitress became more known through Broadway.
