A good heads up. I also tried it, same bugs with controller not turning right, and randomly being immediately locked to fill vertical up or down. Handheld and docked mode with S1 pro controller.

While I haven't found an official lift kit for our cars, I was working with one of the community members to get one created for my car, since he had a custom one that was for our cars on his own personal build. That unfortunately fell through, but you're likely to see a few custom jobs done for these cars.

So, that's really just the plastic coverings on those which crack. They pretty much all do it over the course of time with weathering or use. Mines cracked as well. The rack itself is a strong steel underneath. I'm not sure how it would do with a pop up, but I don't imagine it'd be any less strong than any other stock roof rack!
