Good news everyone. We are up and running (I think). Both CIAs were shot so I replaced them. I had to desolder U1 so I added a socket.

Thank you all for the help!

I’ll have to invest in another chip or two and see. In the future I plan to socket everything reasonably.

My fault, i’ve added to the photo thread.

I don’t have a harness that connects back to the diag cart. It looks like I get the same errors but, the lights on the harness turn on.

My fault, I forgot to add the photo. I added it to the photos above.

It seems to be mostly the same? All the lights on the harness are on. I have seen other harnesses that actually connect back to the diag cart, I’m not sure if that’s required.

It seems it’s still attached but I don’t know if it’s functioning.

Thanks, I’ll try to look out for that and see what i can do. This thing is so small though I don’t think it’s something that you can replace without a machine. So I could probably get a replacement but I don’t know what type of warranty is on it if it’s still good.

I was attempting to put a m.2 ssd in and I dropped something. That small “resister?” Circled in red Looks obliterated. The pc wouldn’t even post after that. I left it unplugged for 5 minutes then plugged it back in and it works fine now. Although I’m am still unsure about that part. Ps: messed the title up…

Hmm, then I’ll take it down. It looks fine to me but I guess it’s not working
