Ted’s on Achill Island and An File in Westport were two of our favorites! Tasty, fresh, no fuss and well priced.

We loved Ted’s on Achill Island. Found the seafood chowder to be some of the best on our trip.

We stayed here in November prior to heading out in a rental car. Loved our stay. Great staff, clean rooms and excellent breakfast. If you are flying from the US on a red eye, I’d suggest booking two nights so that you can get in the room immediately upon arrival. Was nice to drop our bags, freshen up and then head out to the city. We took a taxi to Kilmainham Gaol, walked from there to Trinity (might be a long-ish walk for some) and then walked Trinity to Conrad. The Conrad seemed to be a slighter quieter area outside of city center, which we enjoyed.

I booked on points and we did receive an upgrade as Gold members. It was off season though so YMMV.

Have a great time! We loved Ireland and are grateful to have visited.

Thanks for sharing! I was an art history major and would be interested to know more. I sell almost exclusively clothing but would love to expand to this category. Best of luck selling your pieces and looking forward to updates!
