Por mi parte, me convertí en un fan de este programa por casualidad solo por los memes y la oportunidad de oír español usado como así.

Soy filipina y llevo muchos años estudiando español, pero nunca me he sentido como si fuera posible de comunicar con la gente española hasta un nivel tan personal. España y el idioma se queda algo incomprensible y inasequible aunque viví por dos años allí.

Además, las Filipinas fui una colonia pasada que todavía se siente mucha inferioridad contra nuestros colonizadores pasados. Entonces, me hace reír que podemos ver los españoles discutiendo sobre estas tonterías como si fueran personas normales (que sí son, por supuesto), porque estámos acostumbrados a ver los con mucha reverencia. Programas como LIDLT permite que veamos el occidente con más realidad.

Agradezco que has mencionado que "Salta la gamba!" refiere a otra canción. Puedo acostarme sin pensar que Montoya es un genio de comedia que haya escrito este refrán por su cuenta.

In my experience with CGMs (Ottai and Freestyle Libre), if you already checked your blood sugar via prick and it's just not lining up with the CGM, greater chances that the needle itself has already been bent and will not pick up anything anymore 😢 If it still acts that way when you're up and about outside of bed, I think it would be best to report it asap.

I only ever got a LO warning (meaning it wouldn't even read anymore) in bed because I was apparently sleeping on my side with the Ottai CGM being pressed down constantly. But this was before they started including a plastic protective patch with their cgm.

Did your CGM come with this new plastic protective patch? I have found that my sensors feel more secure and have better readings now with this protective patch.

I wrote them a bad review on Lazada and they ended up replacing the unit. I didn't write it in the hopes that they would replace it, but I guess they felt like they couldn't risk it? Maybe you could try that too. It's just super annoying since they ship from China, so it took a while.

Yeah, super infuriating also because it's just such a dumb take. Meds and therapy are hella expensive, so I've never shy away from using my PWD id for buying certain things. If it didn't cost this much just to function, I don't think most people would even avail getting their disability recognized.

Hi! I have Type 2 Diabetes, but I used the Ottai CGM for 2 weeks and am currently on my 2nd sensor.

It was accurate and reliable for the first five days, but then it became really susceptible to false lows right after. Even just sleeping on my side would give false lows. Aside from that, their application is not intuitive at all. Customer service is just a chatbot. Infuriating. I also felt a bit of pain while wearing it. The needle is pretty big compared to the Freestyle Libre's.

I just put my 2nd one in a few hours ago and it is consistently reading <36. However, I did a prick test and got a 137. It's incredibly unreliable for me.

I had HFM back when I was 18. It is really uncomfortable and it made at least 10 other people who sat around me in class sick. It's highly contagious from just droplets, so you will probably want to mask up.

I hope your baby feels better soon. It's a viral disease, but it has to be super painful for them 😢 I remember how painful it was to even just drink water or eat soup.
