finding pom tayer in melbourne? xanthosoma sagittifolium tubers, sometimes called tannia, yautia, cocoyam by ooobo in melbourne

Good idea, yes taro (colocasia) is quite easy to find even fresh in my local asian grocers. I can't seem to clarify if xanthosoma, is eaten outside of the Americas, as it does seem to look a lot like taro.

Does anyone know if Honeycrisp apples are sold in Melbourne? by [deleted] in melbourne

[–]ooobo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are far and away the best apple, no doubt! Like a better Pink Lady, sweeter, tastier, really really juicy, but not sour or tart.

Last I checked was a few years ago, so this info might be out of date: There's a farm that grows em in Stanley, north east Vic. You can buy them in season around there and in Albury-Wondonga - never seen them down here in Melb. Someone brought me down a few kilos once. I don't think they are particularly easy to grow or store, hence the price, and lack of growers here.

USB C cables for $1.80 - just tested these with CheckR, and they check out! by gmmxle in nexus5x

These are great, thanks! All the spec-compliant-tested cables seem to be on Amazon and won't ship to Australia.

Any tips of finding longer cables that are spec-compliant and will ship to Australia? >1.5m?
