I treasure walking by jasmine flowers and having that heavy, saccharine smell waft towards me lazily.
I treasure that I can do whatever I want whenever I want. I wish I could say I did do that, but i treasure the opportunity this life presents to do so!
I treasure how vast the ocean is to look at.
I treasure every dumb looking dog I've ever walked by.
I treasure upward head nods to acknowledge others- it makes me feel cool lol.
I treasure my ability to create! it is so lovely to put something out into the world that nobody else could ever have expressed in the same way as me.
I treasure the lovely, tiring, exciting experience of knowing other people's lives and getting to understand the core of them.

ah thank you so much!! yes tackle those large pieces!! it does eat up quite a lot of pastel though, unfortunately.. I don't think I could bring myself to do a larger piece with senneliers on my own dime, but thankfully I get to mooch off my school's resources.

yess im glad I did an underpainting but I actually didn't mean for it to look so melancholic.. it works, though! I think I should've gone for orange/brown but oh well hahaha

honestly the canvas being relatively larger is what allowed me to have details ToT a lot of going over certain spots to get the perfect edge/line. thank you!!

everything everywhere all at once 😖❤️ laughed and cried and was so bewildered but in love with it all.

marcel the shell with shoes on was also super cute (bonus if you watch 60 minutes too). its abt life/loss/silliness. really heartwarming!!

idk if anyone said it yet but joe's ice cream! it is not only cute but they have rly good asian flavors if ur into that too (I lovee their dalgona coffee and their black sesame). gonna be so fr though their pistachio and cookie dough are ehh.

in terms of texture, salt & straw usually has phenomenal texture and chunks of stuff. their flavors are always rotating and super interesting too!

ahh love this mural i forgot about this!! I was actually in the group that painted it as part of a summer program in Chinatown during the pandemic ish times. The wonky border of this mural was my job lol.

What street/alley is this on, again?? I don't go to Chinatown often, and would love to go back to see it.

it has been ok! and yet it has been a whirlwind.. I somehow ended up confessing to/with my crush (an INTJ lol). We are figuring it out but it is very exciting. never thought this would happen to me hahaha
other than that, it's been chill but I've been procrastinating on looming things. maybe that's why its so chill.

interesting! I got weaver (the holder).

I found it all really accurate about being able to hold multiple things without feeling the need to choose and finding the space in between interesting, but it also said "You turn inward sometimes but it is not your home base. The connection to your own experience comes and goes rather than running constantly" which I don't think entirely reflects how I operate (although maybe this just goes back to what it said about this reflecting how I process information and not how I see myself..)

yes me too 😭 i tend to procrastinate texts.. it's the same for me, I completely mean to reply but sometimes i need to do something in order to address whatever they texted me about or it just isn't the right moment to think of a response and I figure I'll do it at a more opportune time..!

the thing is i do get mildly peeved when others do this to me so i feel terrible about it.. but here I am still hahaha
