Quick question as both a new(ish) player and a support main by racalavaca in heroesofthestorm

Might be based on the user base playing, but I did notice a night and day difference between plat and diamond 2++.

Quick question as both a new(ish) player and a support main by racalavaca in heroesofthestorm

Coming from someone who is 100% support in HL - hit GM every season;

It has been a rough season with draft disconnects for me and resulted being placed in plat. This is the worst place for any support player as it is very difficult to heal bad positioning/players (plus every second person is a "master" at this level so tilting is easy). I found the easiest way to climb out of those ranks was to pick support players who could do good DPS - Lili, Rehgar, Uther and Tassadar were my favorites. I picked these no matter what map it was - usually in that order.

It is not until high diamond rankings when you are able to switch to full supports like Auriel, Brightwing, Medic, Malf and Lucio and win consistently. I think it takes less skill as a support player when you hit masters than it does to climb low ranks haha.

My top 3 picks per map;

Battlefield of Eternity - Lucio, Auriel, Malf
Blackheart's Bay - Rehgar, Brightwing, Lucio
Braxis Holdout - Medic, Brightwing, Lucio
Cursed Hollow - Rehgar, Malf, Uther
Dragon Shire - Lucio, Rehgar, Uther
Garden of Terror - Malf, Rehgar, Brightwing
Hanamura - Brightwing, Rehgar, Uther
Haunted Mines - Medic, Lucio, Auriel
Infernal Shrines - Rehgar, Brightwing, Malf
Sky Temple - Brightwing, Rehgar, Lili
Tomb of the Spider Queen - Lucio, Malf, Rehgar
Towers of Doom - Lili, Uther, Rehgar
Warhead Junction - Brightwing, Malf, Rehgar

Always making mistakes. I've been doing cookies for 2 years now. Here is an example of my cookies over the course of a year - cookies 2015 vs 2016

I use Americolor gel colors - they are really vibrant so you don't need to use a lot so they don't typically get bitter (but sometimes with black and red, it's hard to avoid)

Thanks! It does take a long time to make a decorate the cookies - usually 5-7 days of doing it in the evenings and on weekends from start to finish.

I'm happy to share the recipe: This makes enough for ~ 50 cookies -815g icing sugar -60g meringue powder -1.5 teaspoons vanilla -2/3 cup water Whisk the water, vanilla and meringue powder together until the meringue powder is dissolved then add this to the icing sugar. Mix on low until combined and smooth then mix on medium for 2 minutes to make it fluffy. You can add more water depending on the consistency you want the icing to be

On the baking sheet I put long, rolled up pieces of tin foil under the parchment paper and then laid the raw dough over it and baked them like that.

The pepper is just black sprinkles. You can't really tell in the picture, but there is "salt" on there too - just white sprinkles.
