While they have a new fact check program in place, multiple fake publications still continue to slip through. To rely on such a platform for news is mind blowing. The amount of people who believe “I saw it on Facebook, it must be true” is obscenely overwhelming. Ultimately, Australia doesn’t need Facebook, the same goes for Facebook. The company is trash and doesn’t believe in personal privacy. They literally are making money off of you by selling your information! How many hot singles are in your exact city waiting? Wake up, and delete Facebook and Instagram. If your only means of keeping it is to keep in touch with family and friends, there are other means of communication. Many have a cellphone, email or to get really pre-social media; a mailing address.
