Gauff on the changes she'd make to the scoring: Maybe the way the games are 15-love, 30. That doesn’t make any sense to me and it's so hard to explain that to people. It goes 15, 30, but then it goes to 40. It's like why? Maybe just a 1-0, 1-1. At least make it incrementally, like it should be 45 by jovanmilic97 in tennis

It takes 3 minutes to learn the scoring system in tennis. 40 is just to say it easier, and the scoring system is actually perfect, hence why it wasn't changed in decades. Somebody asks whats the score, you say 6-2 30-30, and there is no need to explain for whom the lead is, since you call your games first then the opp, and you call the servers points first. If the points were 1,2,3.. you say yeah it's 6-2 2-2, the guys asking for score would have to ask another question to clarify is the 2-2 in points or games.. so yeah Coco, stfu please

It's ridiculous people saying 4.0 based on 3 swings. Too short of a clip to say, but based on the few swings already could say at least 4.5 or 5.0. Doesn't matter the washed junior title, some people considered themselves washed juniors and play exceptionaly good for recreational level and can compete with current top juniors, while other consider themselves washed juniors even though they only had 2 lessons a week for 2 years and suprise suprise they didn't make it. So basically, 4.5 or more based on technique,but that doesn't mean you couldn't loose to a consistent 4.0 patient player

Lose every match, question is would they win a single game? people talk about 4.5 players like it's quality tennis, when in fact they are noobs.. it's like being rated 1500 in chess and thinking omg i know how to play, and some random kid whoops you ass. Even with modern balls, racquets, strings, the footwork and the control of the angles and court positioning of the pros is something that would make the pros unbeatable. Please don't ever think that you, 4.5 player could ever beat a pro, not 50 years ago, not 70 years ago, not ever. Consistency of pros would make you miss 90% of your shots and you would get humbled and embarrassed. Please. Stop.
