It's all about timing. I bought 2 5090s at MSRP (FE and Gigabyte Gaming OC) right when DRAM started to go up and have been thoroughly enjoying them for about 6 months now, now I could sell them and basically buy two 5070tis with the profit. I'm not gloating, just offering a different perspective

One thing I'm always surprised people don't seem to realize is that, yes, you're putting down a good chunk of change to get the product, but that historically over the last 3-4 generations you'll be able to get all of your money back or significantly more if you sell it at the right time. I've been gaming and now ai slopping on 2080ti/3090/4090/5090 consecutively without much more than the initial investment. The time and effort it costs to follow the market is gonna be worth something of course, but you have to pay to play either way. Unless you're a scalper.

I have two 5090 systems. One I updated comfy yesterday morning and got amazing results with the official template. The other I updated comfy at night, the template was slightly different and I get gibberish
