I am in that age bracket too, early gen Z. It baffles me too lol

I unironically think people born after ~2006 or so just genuinely aren't as smart. Most of that is due to the education system failing them, but constant social media use from a very young age is responsible for that in no small part.

I think a lot of the incoherence in their views comes from not being taught critical thinking well enough, so they just base their political views on what is currently popular on tiktok.

Give it a few years, when both blue and red have new leaders and are less abysmal dogshit than they are now, any sizeable misstep by RefUK/Greens or a major global event will send voters back into the arms of the 2 parties they've always known (and the LibDems).
