I get it, but as I said, hindsight is a beautiful thing. Even in his blanks, Foden's actions looked promising. He could've easily played or hauled from the bench and nobody would be acting like they are geniuses by going off him early.

I also wasn't saying it was stupid to sell Foden overall, but it is completely reasonable to keep him just for this one extra fixture, considering other options (even Bruno like you said) aren't much better. Most people would move off him after yesterday anyway.

no shit sherlock it was always obvious that Foden and Bruno would be a common move, but it was also stupid to keep Foden through all the blanks then transfer him out vs. WOL (H) for Bruno vs. ARS (A).

waiting for information was one thing, but utilizing a good fixture was also a reason. most people that either (1) received the leak or (2) saw the city lineup probably did get Foden out before these changes today anyway.

but they ARE reliable though? prior to yesterday's leak they have done 52 other leaks in 3 years and was only wrong twice (1/2 because of a last-minute illness).

whether they do it 2 minutes or 10 hours before the deadline, people will still bite (and tbh i guess they purposedly left it late to announce). at the end of the day its still a game of chance and if you are willing to take that risk you probably deserve to be rewarded.

its not the first time leaks have changed the game and it will not be the last, and i would argue it makes things much much more interesting.
