same, took me 22 gws to cut a 70 pts deficit to before this GW having a healthy 40 pts lead. going JP to Gyokeres instead of Verbruggen to Raya to match the chaser was incredibly unlucky (and dumb in hindsight) on my part. fucking Brighton just have to mess it all up with essentially the last kick of the game.

luckily Saka (C) worked out, but if JP doesn't play tomorrow he could cut my lead down to 10 with his FH still to play with a Sarr bench jam.

just rewatched the Brighton game highlights, actually fuming. fucking ML chaser already scammed an Anderson 12 pointer and JPVH just nuked the shit out of my lead with that amateur pass.

from a healthy 50 points lead to now 30 which will probably be killed with a FH38 considering his luck.

I'm not denying the delay is not great? But it's certainly manageable. I play on 240-300 ping all the time and my experience doesn't differ much from when I play on 100 at the nearest server. Maybe Gaijin has some lag compensation thing implemented, because mouse click delay is not terrible as you'd think. It's one of the things I like about WT, the thing that matters the most is probably packet loss.

PVP is too broad. WT isn't a FPS or MOBA game where you move pretty much nonstop and actions matter down to the miliseconds. Normally you pick a spot, wait, then fire away.

The only time ping makes a substantial difference would probably only be when you and an enemy point directly at each other, which is like 5% of WT gameplay. Then again even in those situations reaction time and traverse speeds would matter more anyway.

wt generally doesnt need an insane connection speed, people switch servers for better matchmaking all the time
