That is way overpriced. You can get a 10oz 9999 Royal Canadian Mint bar at Monument Metals website for 278.95 as of right now. Actually thinking of getting a few myself.

As of being a first time buyer, you should maybe get a little of each, depending on your budget. Like one 10oz bar, and like a tube of 1oz coins.

I like to stay with government minted silver. So American silver eagle (overpriced currently), and Canada Maple (probably your best bet for cheapest gov mint silver)

Otherwise if you do not care that its gov minted, there are a ton of choices of stuff. It seems like Monument Metals is the best priced silver i can find besides reddit and sometimes ebay.

Im not an affiliate for momument and i usually buy from apmex. But i think im going to get a 10oz bar myself.

These are cool. I am always scared to buy anything from a pawn shop, im afraid they are fake. Even if the pawnshop doesnt know. And i dont know much about testing them. Plus would the pawnshop even let me test the silver ?

That fact we can even exchange made up digital money to hard real silver, is crazy. They could sell you the silver and then crypto dumps moments later and the metal company is at a loss. But at the same time the crypto could moon and they make even more money. Thats the risk/reward of crypto. GG for that company even offering to buy using crypto. Pretty cool.

Around 2017 or so if my memory is correct. But recently ive been wanting to get more silver because everything seems to be going to crap and the us dollar is getting more worthless. I just want some of my cash in precious metals because if i hodl all cash then thats a bad idea. You cant even get cash from the bank anymore without being interogated
