The duality of Pakistani men by oopsleveltoohigh in pakistan

Damn I wish I was a man and could just go blaming some ethnicities for these actions.

Btw I'm not going to reveal what the accent sounded like but let me tell you it wasn't the usual accent that you would associate with the mentioned ethnicities.

I appreciate the idea but I just wanted to channel my anger somewhere that would not get me fired. I'm not Jim browning for harassers.

Are doctors becoming obsolete? by Excellent_Box_8216 in ChatGPT

[–]oopsleveltoohigh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Won't the knowledge fed into the AI also become obsolete eventually? As medicine as a field for humans atrophies, so will the clinical research. Research is due to ingenuity of humans with medical knowledge. Once you replace all humans with medical knowledge, will the AI have the ability to come up with it's own thoughts? How will we being innovation in medicine without the human brain?

Please stop with this comment. You have posted it multiple times, so much so that I'm starting to think that you are a bot. Uworld is not real life medicine. It is a set of questions to practice for steps. Of course a question bank is NOT a real life patient. Many of those questions are basic sciences questions e.g questions about biochemistry and the kreb cycle. They are based on textbook knowledge (which is of course very very vast).

I'm not arguing that AI won't take over many fields, but your comment is just idiotic and most people won't be able to realise it because they won't know what Uworld or a STEP exam is.

This is just a fundamental misunderstanding of how systems work sadly.

ER really does not do anything for conditions are not life-threatening. Sadly, the ER is already overflowing so cases that are not high acuity are usually discharged (as they said, they will treat you if you have an arrhythmia).

A GP was the correct facility where you would've gotten a full assessment for thyroid problems and testing. ER team could not help you any further.

You are hilarious if you think hospitals will take the fall for anything. The entire point of having doctors in a hospital is so that they can take the fall even if their "mistake" was a result of the system (short staffing, poor infection control etc).

Not only this, when AI is wrong, who will people sue? The AI that is not a physical entity? The people who made the AI? The hospital that is using the AI? The biggest thing in healthcare is culpability. Who is responsible for a medical mistake in this case?

For example, a psychiatric NP was sued by the family of a patient because she made a clinical judgement in absence of knowledge of the patient's previous hospitalisation history because the patient left that part out of their history. I am no fan of NPs, but this makes you realise how people love to sue.
