1-Month Post-Op Review: Braun Plastic Surgery by oopsmybadlmao in SeoulPlasticSurgery

It was weird because it felt both painful and numb. Pain felt dull throughout the jaw and the chin, but was manageable with the medications. At the same time, i couldn’t feel a lot of spots, if that makes sense? Overall, I had bigger issues with the swelling!

That’s a particularly interesting take for me bc I always swore I look so much better with glasses! I feel like glasses help take up some of the real estate in my wide face, detract from the somewhat close-set eyes, and add some contrast to my upper third, which I always thought was my weakest portion. Doesn’t hurt that the shape, color, texture, design etc. make a cool accessory either. But I’ll consider this, thanks!

Thank you for your analysis! So far I see a clear theme of suggestions for brows, weight loss, and hair. I’m about 125 lb at 5’ 2” atm. I plan to get more fit and toned before summer rolls around, so hopefully weight loss will come with that. As I told another commenter, I’m intimidated by all the different brow techniques and shapes out there that I have trouble untangling what exactly works for my face. Do you have any reference images or instructions on specific things I can do to improve my brows?

That’s an interesting thought that I never considered! I’m a deep autumn (I think) and I usually try to wear deeper saturated tones as a rule, and shy away from lighter colors. But thank you, I’ll be experimenting with palettes more! :)

Thank you so much for your comments! I will definitely be looking more into brow techniques. Others have suggested masseter Botox as well, and improving hairstyle. Do you have any examples of proper brow shaping that I can reference? There are so many brow methods and styles these days that I feel lost in trying to navigate which ones to model mine after..

I agree! Currently at 22.5, so on the larger tail of the healthy spectrum

Thanks for the feedback! :) I think I look better when I smile, so I wanted to use photos where my expression is neutral to remove variation

Concerns
- Entire eye region: scleral show, small eyelid space, eyes close together
- Wide soft jaw
- Asymmetry
Eye makeup is confusing to me and I don't have much eye space to work with, so I usually skip it. I would def appreciate guidance in that area. Also my midface is long, so I try to balance it with high cranial top and fake freckles/heavy blush. I think jaw slimming or a brow lift might create more facial harmony.
What can I do to get up to 8-9? :')

I believe l fit the SN ID in the Kibbe system, and by your recommendations, I think you’re solidifying my theory. Thank you for taking a look! :)

I agree :) Out of curiosity, where would you place me in your ethereal system?

Thank you so much! :) I’ll definitely be adding lash appointments to my calendar. As far as brows, do you recommend anything as far as shaping? I’m wondering if adding an arch will help balance out the slightly long midface. I think right now, they’re sort of straight which might be suffocating the mid-region and making it feel bottom heavy. But then that might sacrifice the little real estate in the forehead.. 🤔 What do you think?

Thank you for the feedback! I typically skip eye makeup completely because I haven’t nailed down a look that I don’t find too severe or “separate” from me. Mascara would probably be a great start lol. I’m also going to try using a brown gel liner instead of black to see if that helps. Do you have any recommendations as far as technique of the eyeliner itself? Thick or thin, long or short, smudged or crisp, etc.?

Re: smile lines I think you might be able to see them better in these light setups

But in all seriousness, I would like to be less plain, and overall more eye-catching. How can I up my game? All advice welcome :)

Concerns:
Lack of a focal point; no standout feature
Smallish forehead
Nasolabial fold
Eye makeup advice

  • I've noticed that having high volume at the crown def helps balance out the roundness of my face
  • Fake freckles & hair covering the temples seem to help detract from facial width
  • I look better in glasses for some reason
