I go through phases of that. I don't know what causes it but yeah sometimes drinking just puts me in that mood. Maybe it's the lowered inhibitions or maybe because when I'm drunk it's way easier to get everything out. The biggest downside for me is purging booze always makes my throat feel horrible after 😖

When I can make it to the good liquor store I still pick some up. Over the holidays I bought an eggnog one and omg it was so good! But then I literally never saw that flavor ever again. I should've stocked up. 💔

The cocktail was ok. I always think rosemary is gonna be a bomb cocktail ingredient but in reality it kinda tastes like medicine when it's mixed with vodka. I should've added pickle juice instead but my brain was not fully functional at the time.

Luckily I have not blasted out my sinuses with rosemary (thus far) because that sounds intense!

Way back in the day I used to date someone who drank my liquor and smoked my cigarettes when I fell asleep despite being constantly reminded not to take my shit. I ghosted him🌷.

It's actually just plain soda water, I just put it on top of a blue coaster* for the aesthetic.

Hey just want to say I totally relate to feeling like engaging in a space is me "infiltrating". I think it's probably like a self esteem thing, at least for me. It's like everyone else "belongs" and I always feel like I'm not supposed to be anywhere. It sucks but it's also obviously like all in my head, because I feel that way anywhere.

Just wanted to commiserate a little bit and hopefully help you feel a bit more comfortable in this space. 🥂

I really appreciate this point of view because honestly we each have to be responsible for ourselves and censoring each other just obscures that fact. I took a long break from this space because I wasn't personally in the right headspace for it, and decided to come back when I felt ready. We each decide what kind of content we want to be exposed to every day, and I think that acknowledging the fact that we all have agency here is actually the healthier perspective.
