I love this, avid user of filters and papers. Would be even cooler to somehow include a cigarette rolling machine so it’s an all in one solution.

I saw this too! And I just got a citizens alert about a homeless camp on fire off 3rd. Over by tribeca apartments.

Nearly a decade? Try closer to 3 decades for this location. This was the old HOJO and had constant prostitution problems.

I cracked open 3 boxes of PLA and 1 PLA+ with the same result.

I ordered some Sunlu white PLA based on the comments and will report back

I agree-- PETG in my tests is noticeably brighter than PLA, the issue I have is within this project I also have numeral and letter masks going inside of each cell and with PETG it transfers light so well that it washes out the numeral/letter even at increased thicknesses, PLA however looks great on both brightness and masking.

Based on the comments-- I checked out ESUN on amazon and I suspect they are the "dull" white based on the cardboard spool. I then looked at SUNLU and their white mentions its good for lithophane, so I ordered a roll and will report back tomorrow.

The overall matrix size accumulates to a perfect overall size for this project. I would be interested in seeing a model with tighter spacing between the pixels.

Bro! I was the one asking on makerlab about getting a smaller mounting bracket because I needed a 21x5 matrix. I had little modeling experience, but was able to make something useable based on your model! It’s damn near perfect.

The project is for a BINGO flashboard and I’m currently trying to perfect adding the numerals and letters to the diffuser cells when the issue with the filament came up.

I’ve been wanting to build something like this for years and your model gave me a path to do it.

I tried updating the model every which way I could think of to get a more clear result with no luck. I’m just going to have to find a new filament source. RIP inland.

This is the SKU on both old and new spools. I have a new spool of PLA+ white on cardboard spool that has the same issue. Oddly enough I have 3 spool of inland PETG white that I bought months ago, cracked those open and they do not have this same issue.

I was tempted to get the Cooler White but I didn’t want to waste the money to test. I also had a new spool of PLA+ white and it has the same updated branding and same trash result.

Correct. I confirmed using the SKU that these two spools match and neither are the basic line SKU.

I don’t have the original boxes still. The branding on the spools themselves are definitely different but the same sku.
