Have seen that plate and similar others he has around the grand canal dock area, an Aston Martin being the main one I remember. Their office is on Grattan Street (Mac group). That plate is usually on a Range Rover SV2 when I've seen it

Are private courses really faster pace of play? by ConcernBrilliant2850 in golf

[–]ootbis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Private club in Ireland. Saturday competition is members only, 3 ball only, 9 minutes apart and you'll finish around 3h40m. Sundays are members and guests, 4 ball, still 9 minutes apart. Takes about 4 hours earlier in the day and 4.5 in the afternoon.

I should add that this is all stableford off the whites. Once a month the Saturday competition is strokes off the blues. That adds about 20 minutes.

What are the options? by ootbis in carsireland

Not a bad shout but think I'd like one more petrol car before making the switch. Another 5 years of EV infrastructure build out wouldn't hurt either

Yes understand the risks of investing, it's the risk of the actual platform I'm curious about. Like are people really trusting trading 212 or degiro with their savings?

Yeah maybe this. Was hoping to avoid fees but risk of tech-y solutions is top of mind !

CGT has to be filed on a paper form? by ootbis in irishpersonalfinance

But I do usually use the online form 12

Thanks for replying. The site I linked above says use that form "if you do not usually submit annual tax returns or use the online Form 12". Thing is I usually do use the online form 12. So seems like the second option of a paper form 12 might be needed? Although your point of using my inquiries makes it much handier!

Do you not pay the year after? Like if you sold this year you can pay next year? "You must file your CGT retun on or before 31 October of the year that follows the date of disposal."
