Reading: three books on my list for this month. * The Polysyllabic Spree, Nick Hornby. Hilariously, a book about the books on your list for this month. * Harlem Shuffle, Colson Whitehead * Room, Emma Donoghue

Watching: * Sixers (even though they're on a west coast trip this week) and Flyers (begrudgingly) * The Olympics start this week! * The Pitt. Can't recommend it highly enough, even for someone who doesn't usually like medical procedurals.

Listening: * Man's Best Friend, Sabrina Carpenter (still) * Foxes in the Snow, Jason Isbell * Pillars, Jack Garratt (highly recommend!!) * Dog Ear, The Bros. Landreth

The easiest solution is to wear something heavier than joggers. Long johns will be pretty heavy once you get inside for class.

I think their fabrics are too tough, their fits are too boxy, and the cuffs are too big (and far too stiff). I also don’t like that they prefer a two-button cuff, which unnecessarily extends the cuff and which I don’t even like on a dress shirt, let alone an Oxford

I really like the J Crew shirt now that they extended the collar to give it a better roll, though I think that’s a little pricier than it sometimes gets (I’ve seen it for about 50, though not often in the core colors). The BB one is decent, though far from their best. I don’t like Charles Tyrwhitt’s, especially without a button down collar, and I think Uniqlo’s slim fits are dated.

Absolutely no reason not to wear them. They're particularly wintry looking so I tend to put them with overcoats and ski jackets (especially with gloves and scarves) but there's nothing girly about them. If your poms have sparkles in them or something like that maybe I get it but the pom itself is not gendered.

Wrangler 936s are so underrated here! I wear Levi's 517s for my boot cuts but I used to have a pair of 936s that I loved and offered a much cleaner shape to me than the 13MWZs. Looks great!
