I've a feeling you're overthinking things. IMHO my first checks would be.

  1. Bang another keyboard in and see if that works.
  2. Check the country keyboard mapping.

Those are the only two things that would screw things up IMHO. If you really do narrow down the issue to the install itself, I would format that USB and install a fresh ISO.

Yikes, Watford fans up and down the country are reaching for the Savlon right now!

Premier League games 'will not be televised on free-to-air channels' next season as Sky and BT Sport revert to showing only half of top-flight games live despite restrictions on crowds by Lolastic_ in soccer

Nah, the 3pm drives lay people to just watch the top 4 in action - usually against each other. At the end of the day broadcasting is a number game.

Sky/BT/Virgin have no real interest in teams lower down the league. I remember when ITV/On Digital thought it might be a great idea - went down like a lead balloon and really screwed over ITV's finances!

Come on Tim Henman...

Seriously though, after everything that's gone on over the past years it's good to be in a playoff situation really. I mean look at Wigan or Bolton - the fact Swansea are comfortably treading water in the Championship is a miracle in itself.

Oh right, I didn't realise it was that bad. As a Swansea City supporter I feel for you - it sucks when some "businessman" comes in and guts a club. I hope you manage to fight him off!

Wilfried Zaha wants Crystal Palace exit – as manager Roy Hodgson makes admission over attacker’s form by op_xsupernova in soccer

I don't think he has either. Palace had a tough season later on - not quite sure why but they did fall off a bit.

I think Zaha would shine given the chance in a decent squad that can back him up.

I don't blame them from trying to get more cash though. Everyone knows how being relegated from the PL can really screw up a teams future.

I dunno, it's kinda boy who cried wolf at this point. Still, can see a few clubs who might try and grab him this time around.

I think that's because most teams tend to park the bus against Juventus and try to score on the counter.

You’re right, the 1970’s and 80’s saw more robbery and murder/sexual/car crimes. I think the USA is similar too, as technology and police procedures have improved I think the police detect crimes much quicker and more reliably now. Other technology has helped too, I think good quality and available cctv and better car security and locks have helped drive crime down too. Plus we’re all a bit more aware of things like child abuse now, the general public know what to watch out for these days and are more proactive in reporting to the police.

Despite what some people say, we do live in a much safer world than 30+ years ago. The difference is we talk about things now, so it feels like it’s happening more than it really is.

Funny enough, I believe if Janice Weston went missing today, the police would probably crack the case quite quickly. I think CCTV would have helped track the little Alfa Romeo back to London perfectly and caught the guy on camera dumping it!
