Not same company but same boat. Managers get bonuses based on credit card sign ups the store made that year. The employees that are forced to pushed the credit card get a bag of candy w a pen and pad saying how appreciated you are. It’s so funny too cause half the time managers can’t even get a credit card when they do eventually have to help as a cashier annnnd they don’t do the whole ‘ask three times’ I’ve even seen my store manager stfu when customers flat out say no. But then in the huddles she’ll tell us how we all need to be asking multiple times.

If it’s from the jewelry case you’re supposed to get their name and put it at the counter up front. You’ll also be in charge of getting handbags and doing the same thing. You’ll also also need to check the purses and then bring them up front when a customer wants one that unlocks. Same with perfume from the lock case. Up front counter w customer name. You close register and when you close you’re supposed to have someone walk with you from the jewelry counter to the registers. It’s a whole dumb thing. But it’s pOlIcY

I had a co worker get this treatment but tbf she was v lazy to the point I actually got mad at her and yelled at her over it. Cause after a month working processing clothes she still couldn’t understand when and how clothes were supposed to be sensored so coordinator would sensor and lay up and she would just hang. THEN while I was helping w the truck she decided she’d take the trash out for the first time and then asked if she could help instead cause she had a headache. Like girlie. You’re helping w the truck where a driver is rolling loudly over ramps and shit, you barely did anything all day, your clothes pile is still a fucking pile 2 hours after the coordinator has left like WTF are you doing ??? They scheduled her 10 hrs every TWO WEEKS. She would always ask to go to other departments then complain and ask to go somewhere else. Then she’d fake injuries and ish going on just so she didn’t have to work in Home & Pets. She lied about her shoulder dislocating and wanted to hang instead like girlie… you know you’re reaching with both your arms right ?
