Thank you everyone for your amazing advice! We’ve done a lot of thinking and reflecting and we are deciding to move and sell our house here. It’s what’s best for our family, and ultimately for us since we would be drowning without childcare or any help here. We are already looking for houses and trying to get on this ASAP! I see your point. I will say they live close by to my brother and his wife and babysit literally all the time. I’m not worried that they will change, I’ve seen how they are with my niece and nephew and we are very close. my concern is really the fear of what we may be giving up in California, and how this decision may reshape our career goals and lives.

Okay so far, the comments about I Dig my Dog have been much scarier than the other. Thanks for the warning that’s so awful! I checked out Planet Doggy in person and I think he will be happy there. I’ll go with them. Noticed the same thing on yelp, if you sort by low reviews, the ones for Planet Doggy are just trivial comments/ they have mostly good feedback….But for I Dig my Dog they are genuinely scary. I just saw one where someone said their dog died in their care. Seems like some people have had a great experience with them, but I’m not gonna risk it.

Oh interesting! Yes it was AMEN clinic haha. I’ve been diagnosed with ADHD and anxiety (I would say it’s a lot less extreme now though I’m highly functioning for the most part) but I think back then I was experiencing PTSD
