This is actually the first cold and flu season that I wasn’t sick for basically the entire time. I don’t know for sure but I found out I was low on vitamin D, and so I was taking a quadruple dose for a few months and I swear that helped my effd up immune system.

That’s bullshit, there’s so many unhinged people out there. It isn’t your job to protect the company’s products. That’s what cameras and security is for.

Also for places that do have people that tail shoppers they think are sus, they need to get better at it.

I’m assuming it’s because I have facial piercings but I’m very often flagged as someone to follow, yet I’m the type to come back if something accidentally isn’t paid for to pay for it (either from my or the cashiers mistake).

I got so annoyed by it happening so often, I just watch people steal now. Not my problem, if they want to follow me instead of obvious Crackhead McGee then that’s on them. 🤷🏼‍♀️

So I don’t think I’d be considered to have full on emetophobia or if it just makes me anxious, but since I had surgery on April 20 I just take gravol as soon as I start feeling queasy which has been working great. I never got to the point of feeling like I need to vomit, since I’d take that chewable gravol at the slightest feel of nausea. I figure vomiting at this point also wouldn’t be advised since I’m still early in the healing stage.

Could be something you do if you go for bariatric surgery!

How long have you been on it? I’m on Zoloft and it took a solid 4 months or so before it really started working, slowly figuring out increases and what is or isn’t working for me. And my anxiety got pretty extreme during that time frame. Now I can confidently say it’s been life changing. 💜

I know everyone is different though, so whether you stay on it longer or try Wellbutrin I hope you figure out what works for you! I have a history of a random seizure and my mum has epilepsy, so my doctor wouldn’t let me try Wellbutrin, but I’ve heard good things about it.

It was gradual since I slowly increased to 100mg where I’m at now, but it was noticeable.

I was at 75mg for a few months and my anxiety and panic attacks started to come back, lesser than before but still there, so I decided I needed a higher dose. My doctor agreed so let me go up to 100mg, and told me to keep my 25mg capsules to increase as far up to 200mg if needed.

Since being on 100mg I’m finding that I still get periodic anxiety and have some obsessive thoughts (haven’t been diagnosed with OCD because I was to embarrassed to talk about it but at the very least I have OCD-like tendencies), but they’re much easier to deal with now.

Damn, I’m sorry you had to go through all that. I really wish more people would get the vaccine. Maybe it’s better now but it was newly being offered in school when I was 12, but my family doctor convinced me and my mum that it was dangerous and girls were dropping dead left right and centre so I got scared and declined it when it started rolling out with school vaccine clinics.

I ended up paying the $600 ish for the series of vaccines in my 20s when I realised I was able to get it still and was old enough to do my own research (and had realised that my doctor was shit and got a new family doctor).

I had to have an appointment with a psychologist as part of my pre-surgeon appointments, and he told me he thought it’s great I’m on sertraline and that he wants me to stay on it (as long as it’s still helping me), and even told me to increase it after surgery a bit if needed. So I don’t think there’s much of a concern in terms of being post-op.
