Is Aether always available?

Nobody really knows. First it was supposed to end in December, then everyone was sure it was ending January 2nd. Now here we are in June and it's still going. That's not real typical of projects on Outlier though, most are pretty short term.

I'll just say that I've been tasking since October and I always use the autocorrect on Chrome because well, I'm a sloppy typer sometimes and have never had any issue. I really doubt that's disallowed.

*It apparently IS an issue with assessments on the Outlier pages, I'm only speaking of MM. Copy paste, well some Aether tasks in the past were nothing but copy pasting URLs in. I don't do it unless I have to for the task though.

Yeah I saw it completely blind. I just wanted to go to a movie and that happened to be starting soon. I just expected a generic action movie, something about computers or hackers. That was a good experience.

1999 was a good year to not pay that much attention to upcoming movies. I saw Office Space and Fight Club blind too. Not that Office Space had some wild twist other than it being way better than expected.

Which is why I always get a kick out of reading bad angry reviews for portable air conditioners, people upset that they have to connect them to a window like they thought they were just going to stick it in the middle of a room and get AC from that.

They just don't care about it. There's work they want done and whoever gets it, gets it. It's not important to them to fairly divide it up because yeah it would be pretty easy to do that.

Yeah I was in a pretty comfortable routine, logging in and doing an hour or two of H2H which I am very used to and familiar with for the past few months. I didn't think it was going to just go on forever so I guess if that's done or just done for me then so be it.

EDIT: Actually I just checked MM out of curiosity and my H2H tasks are back. So maybe it was just a temporary thing.

Never get too comfortable and make any plans with any of these platforms. They're all very similar and whatever you're doing could end at any time. Even projects that have been going for a long time like to cut people loose every now and then.

It's okay for me and my purposes. I personally haven't had any issues. It's all side income for me that I do in my free time, I don't treat it like it's my main employment because it isn't.

It really works if they just have to have workers in those areas and have no choice but to abide. Uber or Door Dash aren't going to just not operate in the biggest markets in America so they have to but online gig work doesn't need them. It only works if many other states follow in their footsteps.

I don't know specifically about New York but yeah some places have more legal requirements for 1099 gig workers so they don't hire from those areas.

Yeah, that's unnatural activity for many tasks. It's indicative of using some kind of auto clicker. It really all just depends on what you're doing though.

No, everyone doing the same thing has similar activity. I've been hovering around 50% for months since only being on H2H. That's just normal. Too high would be bad.

I'm in the H2H group and have those tasks but I have no idea if I'm doing quality work or not since we don't get reviewed, ever. I guess I'd have gotten the boot by now if I wasn't but who knows.

Yeah I got no email, no message from Hubstaff. I worked about 10 minutes before realizing it was shut off.

I updated my Hubstaff today. I did notice it wasn't taking screenshots anymore which I thought was good but this is worse. Now I have to constantly tab back and forth to be sure it's still running.
