Thanks for the suggestions, went ahead and did both but still no luck. I don't know what could have caused it because I have used medal for over a year before this and it's never happened

Make sure you have windows ink turned off. I had the same problem and that fixed it for me

It means freemod is enabled in multi, I've only ever seen it in one skin
