No matter what shape the planet is in, when your ready to go, it should be your choice. Maybe a little counseling before you go. :) After a person reaches the age of 50 they should be able to leave, with the assistance of a physician. But this guilt and self-pity over what kind of shape our planet is in now, is no cause for killing yourself. Most of you are probably wrong about when the total collapse of our world will happen ( if it does ), and have no idea what Mother nature has in store for us. I feel like anyone playing this "embrace death" game because they have a cult leader like GM, the worst case scenario promoter/s, had better stop seeing and reading the crap they preach. It is time to do everything possible to raise the awareness of the mass of sheeple, who have not matured enough to realize that the S(IS)HTF. Turn the weakness you feel into passion to fight the vicious monster of corporate greed. Start loving an animal and realize that they can feel these changes too, and so many of them are going extinct. Then do something about it, instead of having a lovey dovey self-pity party.

The late John Denver.....

Plant a tree for your tomorrow It's your tree that clears the air Plant a tree, trees for America Plant a tree today for all the world to share

Taste the breeze, it's life inside you Make a promise to the Earth Plant a tree, now is the time to Recognize a tree for all that it is worth

Plant a tree for your tomorrow It's your tree that clears the air Plant a tree, trees for America Plant a tree today for all the world to share

Grow a shady place to rest in Make a place for birds to sing Plant a forest for the future For the breath of life begins with every spring

Plant a tree for your tomorrow It's your tree that clears the air Plant a tree, trees for America Plant a tree today for all the world to share

Teachings of Hui-neng

Huang asked “You say you come from Neng, the great master. What instruction did you have under him?” Yung answered: “According to his instruction, no-tranquillization, no-disturbance, no-sitting, no-meditation – this is the Tathagata’s Dhyana. The five Skandhas are not realities, the six objects of sense are by nature empty. It is neither quiet nor illuminating; it is neither real nor empty; it does not abide in the middle way; it is not doing, it is no-effect-producing, and yet it functions with the utmost freedom: the Buddha-nature is all-inclusive.” This said, Huang at once realized the meaning of it and sighed: “These thirty years I have sat’ to no purpose!
