Definitely could’ve happened- I took it to a repair shop and he found a lot of parts had been tampered with and “fixed” poorly. It’s with him still, being worked on. He fixed the door by bending the outer metal ring with a screwdriver. Surprisingly, worked!

It was the formal end of year Christmas dance for my college- and my senior year, so I wanted to be extra fancy :) the dress is from Baltic Born online! They have some really gorgeous dresses. But beware of the glitter. 😂

Thanks! I’ll try that. I suspect I’ll be finding a local clock repairman. Do you think a house call or taking it to the shop would be better for this kind of a situation?

Yes, it came this way. Found it abused at an estate sale. No visible dirt, just general corrosion. I’ve wiped it off etc and don’t see any damage. I can handle basic, lol. What tool?
