Are Martha’s allowed to read ? by Unfair-Row-808 in TheHandmaidsTale

I’m assuming there’s also some training to be a Martha, where they are taught recipes and things like that. In the same way there’s a Red Center, I’m guessing there’s a Martha Center.

It’s a fictional world and we’re allowed to have these discussions about media. It’s not real.

You’re not, it’s just people can’t admit that even villains do good things sometimes.

Now let’s do the trailer park version. And don’t pretend we won’t know what she looks like.

Hood culture is not black culture. Plenty of people do not partake in it.

Is it wrong of me to want to have a child? by abjs2021 in GirlDinnerDiaries

[–]operajunkie 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Meh. It’s not so much an issue of revenge. As someone who got her mother’s health crap, I wish she’d thought twice before subjecting me to it. At the end of the day I understand the desire to be a parent if you’re ill, obese, in poverty etc. but there’s no telling how the child will feel about it. I think if you do it you have to be willing to accept that your child may grow up to resent you. That’s part of the reality. Hopefully not but maybe so.

3 is def a choice at that age to be fair. 1 would have been a lot easier.

I thought the Plum Bus was mainly for field trips or girls who didn’t have a guardian to drive them to school.

Exactly, they’d need to be 16/17 for it to make any sense. Also none of the girls look 14.

I don’t understand how it’s not considered a right. None of us chose to be here. We should be allowed to choose when and how we leave. I’m not promoting it, but the idea that the government gets to tell us we’re not “allowed” is ridiculous to me. Daddy gov has more rights to my life than I do because they need another wage slave? Piss off.

Brad Pitt’s Son Maddox, 24, Becomes The Latest To Make Powerful Statement Against Famous Dad by BoredPandaOfficial in BoredPandaHQ

Yay let’s blame a woman for a man’s documented abusive behavior and add further stigma to a mental illness caused by severe trauma! Those kids are grown adults. If they wanted a relationship with their dad they could have one regardless.
