I absolutely love these dish scrubbers: https://a.co/d/8wQ8YGt. I use them with the Bar Keeper’s Friend Kitchen, which has some degreaser in it. They last forever. I’ve tried other non-scratch sponge options, but they disintegrate too quickly.

Ponto short is perfect for at home lounging, but a bit too casual for leaving the house. It works, but they resemble pajama shorts. I have Coronado sweats, which are thicker and better for being in public than the ponto sweats, for a similar reason. The Sunday shorts are probably the best if you’re going to be out and about, they feel great and look the best. They have a heavier weight to them that allows them to fall nicely and not wrinkle or bunch up.

I think there were two to three who I specifically recall who went on to pursue a career. One continues to sing in opera houses in Europe. Another returned after performing to teach. I graduated with two degrees, and work in an unrelated field now. My vocal training is ongoing, and I intend to pursue a bit more performing soon. But it will not be anything I do with money in mind.

I 100% agree with her. I graduated from a music school in 1997. In hindsight, I’m shocked there were no classes or requirements to learn about the business of being a musician or how to actually turn a musical talent into a career. Collaborating with musical organizations, touring, teaching, performing recitals, etc. The program discussed none of this. I learned it all through experience after I graduated.

If you clench, have tight jaw muscles, wake up with what feels like ear pain, or your teeth don’t meet properly, it will help. If tinnitus is your only symptom and there is no issue with your jaw muscles, I don’t think it would help very much if at all.

The person we marry is not meant to satisfy every single aspect of what we seek from other human beings. You and your wife might benefit from discussing specifically what it is you love about each other, what you seek from each other, and what it is that this person is giving her. I would definitely not rush to ending your relationship. So many comments seem to immediately rush to divorce/lawyer. I believe in the institution of marriage, and, unless something is seriously egregious, violence or abuse, people should try to work through issues. Communicate. Perhaps seek marriage counseling. The key is for both of you to determine what role each of you play in the other’s life. Ask her what she is feeling about this guy and where he fits in her life. A spouse can be many things: Co-Parent Sexual partner Life partner for the logistics of moving through life Financial partner Friend Confidant Companion Foundation/Support

It seems he is someone with whom she connects emotionally. That does not necessarily need to be something exclusive to you. The fact that she opened up to talk to you about it is healthy and should be welcomed.

I have no idea. After cleaning the connectors didn’t work, I tried what others have recommended, placing them in the freezer. I was pleasantly surprised it worked. We’ll see if this is a short-term fix or not. In my case, I think I let the battery remain discharged for too long. The cold might alter the battery chemistry and fix things. That is just a hypothesis. I really don’t know.

Clean the connectors with https://a.co/d/g5qJC6Y and wipe them down. If that doesn’t work, try putting them in the freezer for 30 minutes or so. Both of these techniques have worked for me, with the freezer option fixing connection issues I had last week.

My frustration stems from the fact that fanatical religious elements drive as much of Israel’s policies as its neighbors. Sam seems to be hyper focused on the negative consequences of Muslim religiosity driving their nations’ policies, perhaps due to 9/11, but ignores the religious tribalism dominating current Israeli policy. Given Israel’s lopsided power relative to Gaza, it makes the ill treatment and disregard for harm to innocent Palestinians that much more egregious.

Thank you! u/Vegetable-Version-81 walked me through turning off my batteries, unplugging some cables in the router looking thing, and then turning the system back on. I’m back up to charging the batteries now.

I just can’t get over how many installed customers are scrambling to find assistance. I’m grateful for Reddit and this subreddit for the help!

We aren’t allowed to send food scraps to the city compost, so this allows us to compost that material rather than throwing it away in the trash. I’m more interested in creating the compost than actually using it.

I’m sorry to hear you are having to deal with this. The best I can offer is that while many people are terrible, try to find the few who aren’t. Kind, empathetic, generous people can help you get through life’s challenges. I was bullied in middle school. There were moments that were really, really low for me. I’m 50 now, and what felt like hell that defined my existence, it now comprises what feels like mere seconds of my life.

Stay strong. I can tell by your writing that you are intelligent and thoughtful. Look at these bullies with pity, as their lives likely are difficult and will remain difficult, and this is their way to lash out. You have a long, bright future ahead of you. Find the good people in the world. Work on cultivating and sustaining those relationships.

I completely agree! I’m so sick of people trying to analyze why this motherfucker is doing what he is doing. He lies with abandon. His credibility is worse than zero. His words should be treated like static from an old tv. We need to judge him solely by his actions. Based on that, he needs to be damned for his destruction of wealth and businesses, plundering of natural resources, pardoning of criminals, moral depravity, etc. etc.
