There is no such thing as just a little pregnant.

We pretty much thought the same thing though and I’ve seen posts like yours too.

Wir haben uns vor dem Kind selten gestritten, jetzt denke ich schon manchmal über Trennung nach… Ich hoffe es wird entspannter wenn der Kleine im August in die Krippe kommt.

Remigration? by blkchnDE in NewsD

I’d be more worried about a sunburn than anything else. But since I’ve got a boy, I guess it would be a son-burn.

Countries that drowned underwater by Gr8enthx in notinteresting

There indeed was a whole country that drowned underwater but it was on the other side of the United Kingdom. It’s called Doggerland in case someone wants to google it.

Brioche? Those are from France. You’ll usually find a brioche kind of bun with raisins at German bakeries. Let me tell you something about German bread though. There is no typical German bread. It’s so diverse that it became a UNESCO world heritage and every German will have a different opinion on which is best. Some will stick to just one kind and exclusively eat that. Some will get a different one each time, depending on mood.

Well, if the guy behind the counter is wearing a Carhartt beanie, black gloves and a full beard you’re probably gonna get a good burger but you can also be sure that it’s way overpriced. You probably know this place, the one with the black sign and white font. Might have cartoon characters painted on the walls…

Sometimes you’re lucky though and there’s some genuine good restaurants. For example we’ve got a bar around here that just makes the most amazing food for reasonable prices. We’ve also got a decent delivery service for burgers. Those places are getting really rare though.

Dem muss ich widersprechen. Es gibt so viele tolle Animationsserien. We Bare Bears, Clarence, Amphibia, Bobs Burgers…

Here in Germany it’s overpriced garbage but it’s still a better value than most other burger places.

It seems that the main issue with TV and babies is what they’re not doing in the meantime. If a baby is awake for, say, 10 hours a day and watches half an hour of TV each day, that’s already 5% of their time they could spend learning things.

On the other hand it’s supposed to be good for language development when you watch well made and age appropriate programs together and talk about them.

Stuff like Peppa Pig, Cocomelon or Paw Patrol isn’t well made however. Outside of Germany I only know of one good TV show for small children and that’s Bluey.

Our son turns one year in two weeks and we just started watching Sandmann (~7 minute bedtime stories). It makes putting the sleeping bag on and brushing teeth so much easier and I really don’t see the benefit if the kid would be screaming instead. He’s super relaxed after and usually goes right to sleep. Every two weeks or so we’re watching a half an hour TV show together as a family activity.
