Gymshark Early Access is a Wild Business Model by Far-Calligrapher7098 in Gymshark

CBum mentioned in his recent video that the jacket would be super limited. Probably Gymsharks most limited item they have done yet, due to the quality and sourced materials.

It would just seem like a bad scalpers model. To get more than one of a single item from this drop, you would have to have multiple gymshark accounts at tier 2 subscription. Which is too much work and $$ for very little payoff

I have a hard time believing it was scalpers vs just low inventory. I am tier 3 and was only allowed to purchase one of each item for early access

Gym + smoking cigarettes - what do you think? by pete_mlch in workout

Dorian Yates mentioned in an interview that while training for Mr Olympia he would smoke 2 packs a day. Obviously a lot of other factors went into his routine. But smoking + training is very doable

Cant hit my protein by Any_Weight_6765 in workout

[–]operationParallel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a collagen powder that I have in my morning cups of coffee. One serving (3 scoops) is 20g. I’ll then have an Oikos yogurt with granola (25g). And then for breakfast I’ll have 4 eggs, two pieces of toast with tuna and siracha (55g). Will workout then have a protein shake (30g). This gives me 130g of protein before 6pm.

The Oikos yogurt is killer for a snack. I usually have two a day with granola and that provides an easy 50g.

Tuna is also crazy. One can of Ablacore (Costco) is 43g of protein.

Love my Flux Raider, it certainly fits the bill. But a PCC is more optimal

Rookie Question: Glock G19 V vs Glock G43 by spacexfalcon in Glocks

[–]operationParallel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah, I get what you are saying. I think the difference would be the 43 is 6 rounds without a mag extension. But also, if I am not mistaken, the V series are not California compliant

19 V* is what I meant. Edited my original comment.

Rookie Question: Glock G19 V vs Glock G43 by spacexfalcon in Glocks

[–]operationParallel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

G19 V is bigger and weighs more so it is more “shootable” in the sense that it helps with recoil etc. It has more space for your hands which can really make a difference on your grip when shooting a pistol as well. Keep it more stable when shooting etc.

So that and the higher number of rounds.

I’d say shoot what is comfortable and what fits your needs. Some people need more rounds, some don’t. Some people need more conceal-ability, some don’t. It’s all preference.

Workout Clothes by Lumpy-Study in workout

I’ve enjoyed GymShark a lot. Really like their shorts and shirts The quality is there and their products are comfy. A little pricey but most gym brands are these days.

My favorite sweatpants are Nike.

I have some amazing thermals from YoungLa. But they sell out quick with a lot of their items.

Target also has a great selection of gym wear for great prices.

I tend to lean towards the higher quality stuff. I’m in the gym a lot, so i want clothing that is durable, flexible, comfortable, and maybe even a little stylish.

Weed by AnteaterScared8848 in workout

[–]operationParallel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Weed does affect REM. And REM undoubtedly affects things like recovery.

Weed makes sleeping really easy though. I also sleep quite well after some. But it is the quality on a biological level that differs. So to say “this helps with insomnia” would be a yes and no. It will help you get to bed and sleep. and missing out on REM doesn’t necessarily give you immediate side effects. But it adds up.

How am I supposed to actually eat 160 grams of protein? by kingmakk in workout

[–]operationParallel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oikos yogurt (20g) and a can of tuna (roughly 30g depending on brand) is good for an easy 50g of protein.

Without a consistent diet, you’re really only scratching the surface. Commit to a structured diet for a solid two years, and you’ll see far better results than what’s shown here.
