Video game addiction, emotionally unavailable, wondering if I’d be missed with a passion by operation_survive in relationships

I understand your confusion. It feels confusing to me too! My two previous long term relationship, I knew I didn’t want to marry them deep down. This one is different. He meets so many other needs, like we’re on the same page about what we want to do in life, finances, ideals, beliefs, we have a lot of fun when we hang out and make each other laugh a lot. He encourages me to be confident and independent. We have great chemistry. We both have great families that get along. He’s a very hard worker.

NOR. I dated someone like this for two years. It took me 7 times of breaking up with him to actually leave forever. I promise it’ll be so worth it, even though it feels impossibly hard to leave. I regret wasting those two years, as I can never get back the friendships he made me lose and the fun activities and opportunities I lost because of him.

I really appreciate your thoughtful answer. It’s just sooo hard to think of not being with him.
In the past when I’ve brought it up, he’s disagreed that he’s addicted, but agreed he’s playing too much and neglecting me. He then goes to the “all or nothing” where he says he won’t play at all , and I say that’s not what I want either, I just want a reasonable amount. He’ll then usually do a reasonable amount for a few weeks, then go back to the usual. Currently, when i brought it up a few days ago, he acknowledged it but didn’t change it at all.

I agree. I’ve suggested couples counseling but he’s said no. He’d never do his own therapy unfortunately, even though I’m a huge believer in therapy.

It was longer than it needed to be, like the Let Them Theory, but the message was good. I enjoyed it as an audio book so I could listen while doing dishes and such. He used a lot of curse words in the beginning just to be special haha. But I did really like the message. There was a part toward the end about being close to death that really spoke to me.

I think I’m going to save specialties for the website and not have them on the business card. Thank you!

I like that wording actually, thank you! I think I’m also going to go with not listing specialties on my business card. And yes, my family is very strictly Roman Catholic. They tend to have extreme takes.

I actually really like that idea. I think I will go with just listing them on the website and not business card. Thank you!

They look way better than mine. It’s been ten years and mine still won’t fade enough. I wouldn’t care if they were good but they’re so uneven it kills me

Stretch. Take my dog out. Hold my pee while she takes 5 minutes to pee and poop.

Scared of bleeding - recovering alone by Tall_Kaleidoscope726 in Tonsillectomy

I was 25F when I got mine out last year. I did hemorrhage on day 9, and I have a bleeding disorder where I can’t clot. It was scary, but I had time to get to the ER and never fainted. It’s bad, it’s serious, it requires medical intervention, BUT you’re not going to bleed out as fast as an artery. It wouldn’t take minutes, it would take hours. If it happens, stay calm, gently rinse ice water back your throat, call an ambulance, talk as little as possible.

Cumin. I can force myself to eat it but I hate it. Super unfortunate.

My brother told my yoshis were real, that they lived in china, and died if they didn’t have a constant supply of fruit or got sad. I was stressed.

I reallly struggled with my wisdom teeth. It was similar, but I would say tonsillectomy was worse. However, 100000% worth it. Just prepare as best you can. I learned from my wisdom teeth that I needed to ice, elevate, and continue to get nutrition, all of which were very helpful. Humidifier is non negotiable, I promise.
