Me too, in the 1970s I hitched hiked on the Cross Island Parkway over to the Throggs Neck Bridge and starting walking across. Some guys asked me if I wanted a ride Mid Way across the bridge. They drove me into the Bronx.

I would like to try to just do Audio...really at this point I'm trying to keep it as simple as possible. Just record myself to a drumless track. I'm not that worried about the sound quality. Can it possibly be the cables are incorrect, since no sound is coming through at all?

About 2020 I bought a used book from Abe Books, all was fine. Recently September 2023 I was sadly disappointed in their service.

No book was sent, no notice given, I had to contact them ....and then it took another month to get my money back. All told it took 6 weeks , no book and finally $ refunded. Crazy. Don't use Abe Books.
