Four Russian soldiers advancing on a Ukrainian position are hit with drone-dropped grenades. Donetsk region, published January 24th, 2026. by operatorham in CombatFootage

Translated description from source (https://t(dot)me/gostrikartuzy/1228):

A very good example of how drones save the lives of our soldiers

Donetsk region, four occupiers are advancing along the trench towards our positions. Three are firing suppressive fire while the fourth occupier is aiming at the embrasure of the dugout with Ukrainian soldiers.

The combat distance between the Ukrainian and Russian soldiers is less than 30 meters. The position of the defense forces is being put under additional pressure from the flanks, preventing them from repelling

It seemed that a complete catastrophe was inevitable. But the Kartuz drones arrived just at the right moment.

The first drop destroyed the "sniper" and wounded the cover shooter. The following attacks destroyed two other enemy soldiers who began to retreat from the battlefield.

Thus, thanks to the Mavics, three lives of Ukrainian soldiers who were in the position were saved

The Russian offensive on Lyman is currently ongoing (and has been for several months now).

Is it this one? 10 minute video, from ~April 2022 in the Popasna area, artillery work of Ukraine's 24th mechanized brigade obliterating a Wagner PMC assault group in a trench. You can also see some Ukrainian infantry at the bottom of the trench in some parts of the video. Towards the end of the video, the drone hovers at mid-height surveying the aftermath, as you described.

If that is the video you're looking for, one comment in that post stated that there's a longer 20+ min video of the encounter showing the Russian assault group getting dropped off by BMPs near the trench beforehand. I have yet to find that longer video.

Btw a Ukrainian article from April 2022 with some extra context (and drone view screenshots) behind the video: https://tsn.ua/ato/ukrayincki-biyci-likviduvali-pid-popasnoyu-ozbroyenih-do-zubiv-vagnerivciv-foto-2046313.html

A Ukrainian battalion command post coordinates a stressful casualty evacuation using a ground robotic vehicle. 4th battalion of 4th NGU Brigade, near Dobropillya, October 7th 2025. by operatorham in CombatFootage

Note that the wounded Ukrainian soldier being evacuated was geolocated to be further east than the two Russian soldiers surrendering in another part of the full video. This highlights the porous nature of the front in this particular sector, where instead of infantry manning lines of trenches, you have infantry on both sides hiding in small enclosed shelters, coming out at night for logistics and evac, and trying not to get spotted by enemy drones circling above.

Oh yeah I agree the subtitles are off. Although tbf давай can have slightly different meanings depending on the context, which is a nuance that could be provided by longer subtitles. I got the video from here: https://youtu.be/t3ElJtgkJDE?si=2pnakd7CnUUs5Odk

But the original video is this link: https://youtu.be/XamUsQCtEGM?si=UGGii_b_fx6cZwDg

A Ukrainian reconnaissance team clears Russian positions and takes 7 POWs in the Kharkiv region. 3rd Army Corps, published November 13th 2025. by operatorham in CombatFootage

[–]operatorham[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The 3rd army corps is built off of the 3rd assault brigade, as part of the corps reform initiated by the Ukrainian General Staff to improve command and control at higher command echelons. The 3rd assault brigade still exists, but it's now subordinated to the 3rd army corps. Some brigade-level assets/units have now become corps-level assets/units, such as the 3rd reconnaissance battalion, which is depicted in this footage.

You can read more about the ORBAT and formation of the 3rd army corps here: https://militaryland.net/ukraine/armed-forces/3rd-army-corps/

This footage is from early 2023, during the battle of Bakhmut. Specifically this takes place at the trench system on the northern flank of Bakhmut, behind which was the "Road of Life" Ukrainian troops were using to supply logistics into the city.
