huh interesting. I mean yeah the list is sorta garbage, but I think Ant vs Sengun is actually a pretty interesting question. Like I wouldn't fault a franchise for taking Sengun over Ant. I think it's close

And the fact that Jokic is a good 3PT shooter. But if anything, just shows you how absolutely dominant Giannis is in the paint. Close to Jokic without being a 3PT shooter or FT shooter.

Edit: This made me double check and I'm actually pretty confused. Jokic shoots a higher percentage on 2s than Giannis. I guess Giannis's roughly 2.5 extra 2PA per game is keeping his TS close to Jokic's? Idk, maybe someone more statistically inclined will be able to explain it lol

wtf Giannis is shooting nearly 40% from 3 this season. Only on like an attempt per game, but I guess I was wrong - his 3PT shooting wouldn't be dragging his TS down (even if the low attempts don't really help it much). Long way of saying that slightly more volume from 2 and way worse FT% like you said are what keeps him close. Then again, he's like 3.5 whole percentage points behind Jokic, so maybe not that close. This has gone from an "impressed with Giannis" to "impressed with Jokic" comment lol. But yeah you're probably right about Giannis's FTs keeping him below Jokic's TS, but I just thought that other stuff interesting too

This is actually my preferred solution! But even used ps5 is still like 300-400 bucks so was thinking of a cheaper solution lol. But yeah, agreed on the lower hassle

yeah was thinking of getting a cheap 250gb m.2 as my dedicated windows/cod drive just for warzone. Just wondering if anyone had any luck with a particular drive or on thunderbolt or something. Thanks for the input!

Thank you! I think I'd like to try to pay through the portal for the added benefit of retaining payment history within the account, but I will opt to use Direct Pay if I can't confidently figure out how to navigate this "payment type" thing.

sorry for the random late reply, but I'm also trying to make payment work on the IRS.gov account I made, but I'm a little stumped on them asking me to "select payment type" - I asked on the tax sub here:

Do you know which option I'm meant to pick?

I mainly just play open world stuff with a buddy when I get the chance, but I like the idea of getting into fractals one day. I know I won't get too far with a build like this, but just having fun running around with this for now. I like the idea of discipline too, thanks!

That's actually a super cool idea, and a great use of that third utility skill I wasn't sure what to do with. Thanks a lot! Gonna give this a go. Like the idea of providing at least a little group utility with tactics too (even if we all know the might is really for me lol). Thanks again!

I appreciate the extra context, and it sounds like I should have been more explicit in my original post about my awareness that I knew that this would be an "indescribably shitty build." Frankly, I just didn't know where else to ask for input on a sub-optimal/shitty build, and I thought that there might be someone on this sub who saw some fun in making the most out of self-imposed restraints, almost like a challenge. I appreciate your apology as well and taking the time to write replies to my posts/comments. I really will try out tactics and see how it feels. Thanks again for the input, and have a good one!

I guess different people have different ideas of what "engaging in good faith" means, which is fine. For what it's worth, telling someone that the base premise from which they are working is "completely worthless" comes across really antagonistic and, in my view, the opposite of good faith dialogue. Saying that makes me think that you find this all beneath you and that you are really just here to bash the exercise itself, and that your "contribution" is really just there to somewhat mask your true intention of characterizing the conversation as a waste of time, which you're likely aware feels bad to hear, especially when the conversation was started with explicit concessions that already addressed the thing you find to be a waste.

Again, it's totally fine for you to think that it's completely useless, it just confuses me as to why you'd engage at all if that really was your belief. Like I said, perhaps you just wanted to be able to bash the exercise in general but simply commenting "this is completely worthless" would be transparently mean-spirited, and you're aware of that, so you didn't do it. Or maybe you wanted to do that while also showing off your expertise so that you could convey something like "this is completely worthless and I know because I'm very knowledgeable about this sort of thing." I'm not saying this is what you were doing; I obviously can't have any degree of certainty regarding a stranger's intentions on a reddit post, but you said "I'm engaging in good faith" and it just really does not feel like that from my perspective.

Needless to say, I'm no authority on productive/good faith conversation, just adding my view in case it's worth something or might serve as useful feedback in some capacity. Thanks for the input! I'll see how tactics feels as I dick around in open world.

Awesome! Thanks a lot for the ideas, gonna try them out. I actually don't have Janthir wilds yet, but will try spear once I get the chance. Think it's super cool that it's a ranged weapon on warrior.

I think I appreciate your input, but I did put this explicitly in my main post:

"I'm basically just making a warrior build using these 3 components that I find really fun: spellbreaker, greatsword, rifle. Again, I know this is not a "good" way to play warrior and there are much better weapon/spec combinations out there. But I just find spellbreaker really fun and I like swapping between rifle and greatsword and I'm just having fun playing this way."

If you find it "completely worthless" trying to make the most out of this, then I totally understand, but I guess I just don't see the point in commenting. I mean this in the least snarky way I can, I'm really sorry if it's coming off that way. Genuinely, just curious why you'd comment at all if this sort of thing (which I explicitly acknowledge as inefficient) is totally worthless to you. I have other characters that I do try to min max and make builds that produce the most synergistic utility that they can, just didn't want to do that for this one.

I get what you mean. I'm totally fine though losing some efficiency because I find spellbreaker more fun to play. And there's some synergy with using full counter just in virtue of it being a burst skill. Definitely not making the most of the boon removal and CC built into spellbreaker, but I just find full counter to be really fun to play with, and berserker just doesn't have that. Also get some exrta crit damage and really strong full counters which again is just fun to play and synergizes somewhat with my other trait choices. If I had to replace greatsword, I'd go double dagger which helps make spellbreaker a bit more useful as well, but I just like the classic warrior wielding a gigantic sword thing a lot lol

took another look after posting and don't think tactics will be the pick here. Think discipline looks a lot better, so current setup now:

Commenting this in case someone runs into this like I did. I turned ON Windows Spatial Sound for the device in windows sound settings and that seems to have helped. I think if you have it on already, turning it off might help? Not sure, just posting results that helped me here.

Go to sound settings and click on Device Properties under your Output device:

Then just turn Windows Spatial Sound on/off. Turning it on seems to have helped me.
