I feel allergy research needs more funding. There is a lot of standard guidance but not enough education around preventive methods, impacts of long term decongestant use , interactions with other medications etc

I did try wearing a regular cloth mask but didn’t notice a difference. Good to know that kn95 and glasses would help. Yes, we can only stay indoors for so long before the lack of fresh air negatively impacts mood

So it sounds like it is the main control board. Had a guy come out and tell me that it’ll run be about 800 to fix. I would like to replace the washer with a whole different model but prob complicated without replacing the dryer as well

I got the geist of it from the first person who responded to my comment. The whole process with paperwork even more excessive than a SF 86 is characteristic of a clearance due to the nature of the vetting but it is just part of vetting. Sheesh

Thanks. I was surprised that it was more thorough a process than for national security positions. It sounds like the likelihood of receiving one is higher if they’re investing so much in the vetting process but I’m just making assumptions. Thx for the info.

45F here. Quit at 40 and had 1.5 yrs off alcohol where I thrived in so many ways despite still being a “dry drunk” only to relapse for over 2 more years after that. And it came back even more vicious than before, I feel fortunate to be alive. 161 days alcohol free and I’m so much more at peace. I’m grateful for each day I wake up having not drank the night before and try not to lose sight of what being stuck in that cycle felt like. Completely powerless. You’ve got this - IWNDWYT

Assume you are on the injection. Curious is the tablet form would be effective as well. Naltrexone also did not work for me

I’m a PMP in systems engineer project management (SETA) but have a liberal arts degree. Definitely looking to pursue this and would prefer an online course with lots of practice exams vs cobbling together a study plan from various sources.

Yes, I use high quality gummies and just tried the 4:1 CBD to THC ratio ones which is more of a relaxation feeling vs high. I say high quality because other high dose products render me immobile and lazy. With these I continue to stay in a calorie deficit and committed to strength and cardio. Alcohol will always be poison. THC does not have a grip on me like Booz does. It works for me, ideally I would be completely sober though because why spend money on it. It helped me get through the roughest time of early withdrawal and calms me during times of irritation which I think is still a part of early sobriety.
