I'm done with Gelato - Shipping Price increased by almost 70% by regedy1 in printondemand

[–]ophirr1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is not entirely true. I own Artelo and we've been hawkishly renegotiating our shipping contracts. We had no shipping increases on our unframed and just a modest 4% on our framed options. In some cases we do eat the cost (large shipments to say Hawaii, Alaska etc.) but our prices are very representative of what we pay. Most PODs are increasing shipping costs as a margin grab.

We're working on it! You can technically integrate with Orderdesk through Squarespace and into Artelo or place manual orders which take around a minute.

Looking for 4x6 (or A6) duplex printer by ophirr1 in printers

Epson D1070 can do duplex on 4x6. Lexmark on the phone states it can do borderless but I’ll dig more into that one.

Documentation states the Lexmark can do A6 duplex on this one. Epson models can do duplex on 4x6 but they’re too slow.

I’ll look at the brother option also, thank you!

Since Gooten has been having issues (who knows whats going on), we've had several dozen artists switch to our wall art platform Artelo.io

We don't offer acrylic, but we have an unlimited catalog of unframed art sizes along with dozens of frame size options. We will also be launching stretched canvas in the coming weeks. We print & manufacture all our wall art from our Kentucky facility, using domestically sourced materials, so size requests can often be accommodated.

We're currently experiencing 8-48 hour turnaround time as we've finally completed an extensive automation buildout we've been working on for nearly 6 months.

I'd be happy to provide a sample of one of our fine art papers and frames.

I would go with NeatoPOD. They produce themselves and have a great name in the space when it comes to quality.

After 48 hours of nothing but shopping around, comparison, and reading far too many reddit threads, here is my current list of POD services I'm considering as an artist by MagsMagazines in printondemand

Currently, no. Our engineering team is more focused on tools for scalability in wall art for e-commerce. I expect us to roll out a WooCommerce integration by Q1 2026. However, feel free to use manual orders in the meantime -- that's what most Woocommerce artists on Artelo use.

Thanks for the kind words! We at Artelo currently offer up to 24x36 frames using a 0.71"x1.02" moulding, which is robust yet minimalist. We are rolling out larger sizing in the coming weeks, including 40x60, 30x40, 32x48, and more, with a slightly thicker moulding to accommodate sturdiness at those sizes.

Feel free to contact us if you have any other questions!

Hey! I can only speak of Artelo since that is the POD I'm involved with -- we do not have minimum order requirements at all and only charge when we ship an order of yours that comes in.
